That box is really close to mine in my X. It's a tad louder with the port up in the rear then out the back. I'm having a hard time getting the rear wave over the top. Whatever you do U will have to brace the hell out of it. I blew out the side of mine.
As far as subs, the MT's have been proven. The FI's are a damn nice lookin sub. I would get in contact with them and feel them out. If you get a good vibe then go with them. Nothing wrong with tring something new.

DAMITT, i was hoping that it wasn't that great. Now I gotta go and spend more money. I got a palm Zire72 so I'm sure it will work. It also works on the banks big hoss system so now thats 2 toys I can add to my pda
-
So is the 360 a complete setup or do you still need to go get a pda? Cause I got the pda so no it's got me droolin for the 360

haha had em both on vinyl lmao!!!!
VINYL? Don't make my dust that off. Shyt, I bet some people on here don't even know what thats about.

That comes from the mentality that it's only cool if it's loud outside the vehicle. I run into that everyday. My new setup hit 146 on the TL, but my neighbors weren't impressed because, I quote, "It doesn't seem any louder from out here". And then they looked at me funny when I said I didn't care what it sounded like on the outside of the car.
Thats like the guys that say it's not loud cause the trunks not rattling :

U could maybe see gain in an oil burner with those changes but not in a gas. Even with that, banks or some other guys get real pricey when making those HP gains.

I saved it off the USACI SQ Website way back. I guess it's still on there. I thought it should be something I would want to refer back to.

would you consider a 15" to be the perfect blend of a 18's low bass and a 12's punch?
Thay would really depend on your music choice. I went with 15's for years and kinda lost the feel for tighter bass. Now that I went back to the 12's, I'm going back to music that I had given up on years back.
-
18's pound the low bass better than a smaller sub.
so 18>15>12>10, on the low's
since 18's hit the lows better than a smaller sub what does it lack vs a smaller sub?
IMHO A smaller sub can, (Depending on conditions) have a better reaction / recover time then a larger sub. You can get a tighter sound with a smaller sub. A smaller sub can give you more of a punch.

I hear ya, maybe you should hold out for a real show then. Save your 20 bucks or whatever your gonna pay for an entry at his show and wait for a real one.
-
Well... won't the face come off any deck if you work at it?
-
Ok so I'll post something a little different for you all.
http://www.gordongoodwin.com/index1.html
The Big Phat Band is a 5.1 big band cd that will test every aspect of your system. Now I know the idea of anything other then beat might seem gay to you but I can tell you that if your system can reproduce this they way it was ment to be heard then your big pimpin in my book.
-
Soldering is something I do to other peoples cars when I work on there system, Nice and clean when done right. Mine however never gets it. I change build and rebuild too often to take the time to make it clean and tight.
-
Really, why bother. I mean, we all know better but some people you won't beable to change no matter what.
It's like the guy that was into competiting years back comes up to you and says "a 150? shit, back when I did it everyone was doing that. You should be at a 160 bro."
Now one could point out all the wonderful changes made with the new meter but, That type of person just didn't "get it" back then and still won't today.
My advise is go to the show, hit your bigger number then you would on a TL and have some fun.
I tell people all the time about my truck,
"If you don't know, then you just don't know"
-
im not sure, to tell you the truth i really cant stand the drive. Plus im right in the middle of two LARGE projects so im not really even planning on being ready in time. Maybe in '07 if everything goes good.....even then im known to say nahhhhhhhhhhh at the last minute because the thought of the drive (which i did in '04) really sucks.
Pussy! JK

I picked up an isolator at a local RV shop. They sell all day long. It just depends on how many amps your gonna pull through it.

No worries here. It's no fun to roll in the big black beast when it's like this out AC or not. We can set this for another time.

I'll be out there, I can help out with song choice for people with my RTA meter so you can maxout in BassRace.

The soundtreams could do it. The audiobahn 4KN's are strapable. My pick I would go with the Hifonics Maxximus.
