  1. lvl 6s are great musical subs and perform great in bandpasses, i know this for a fact , might want to add some bracing in side that box now what are you planning on power, do not put that sub in 4.5 cubes it will tear itself apart

    Have a couple 6' lengths of 3/4" all thread, coupled with 1.5" thick walls and a 3" thick face, all 3 should make it rock solid. If not than i'll add more haha

  2. No reason to be sorry Kylar lol They're def a rare breed and finicky could probably be the only way to describe them, and i haven't even played with them yet haha. Gonna see what they'll do in the box, if they blow they blow. I'll have a better reason to build them into 18s and play with them like that. Or sell them and move onto another level lol, althought i doubt i'll ever sell them for what i'd ask so they'll be trophy subs and collect dust on the shelf lol.

  3. Truck was cut open to do a 4th initially. Suspension gave out on it and had to rip the 40cuft shell out. This truck is destined to be a rock crawler and the box will eventually get transplanted into a 2500 suburban that i'm hopefully buying in the next few days. I'd love to actually finish the 4th but the money i'd spend on the enclosure will get put towards the exo-cage for the truck in the future instead, and gas for the hungry 6.0l in the burban haha.

    the amp dyo will test the output on the amp based on whatever power source you have to give it (the amplifier).

    It can be a best case, worst case scenario dependent on what you have on hand. And what is on hand is usually dependent on your bank account.

    For right now I believe the amp dyno is so new everyone is testing on benches to see if what amp manufacturers are claiming is true.

    Give it some time and we will see these tests migrate to in car amplifiers running. The we can say

    Amp X did XXXX output on battery Y and Alternator Z while in a Make Model of car.

    That said. Its a great base line. FOR ALL amplifers.

    Thats why, if the testing goes into OTHER manuf. gear.. you need to keep it at the same test.

    (why meade doesnt add bats, or supplies)

    Its not hard.

    Haven't ever powered it up but it should work fine on my 15s
