  1. Aright thanks I think I'll pull the trigger and snag these two.
  2. Is 375 a good price for 2 bnib? Or am I gettin ripped off
  3. Ok thanks for the input. Anybody else?
  4. I have an oppertunity to purchase 2 bnib lightning audio strike 4.1000.1. I havnt realy ever heard much about them but I do know they are made by fosgate so they should be pretty solid. I'm going to be strapping the two together. Does anybody have any experience with these? If so how did you like them?
  5. My fourth order for my 1 9512 is .75 sealed 1.5 ported and tuned to 45hz it gets plenty low. It surprissed the hell out of me.
  6. Pioneer DEh3300 Im pretty sure ill run and check. Ha yea thats plan soon hopefully haha Ok that makes sense thank you. So if i had a higher quality HU say like 6v i could tunr the gain up more with still with a clean signal
  7. Yes I know that was the point i was trying to make to my friend. i dont know if there is cliping there is no audible distortion but i think by friday i should be gtting o scoped. Thanks for the input tho. And supercharged DDs i cant wait to get it playin full tilt man this thing will still laugh at that power.
  8. I only have the big 3 done in 0 gauge and when i run it at 1 ohm it plays but i get bad voltage drop. so until get somemore upgrades im gonna stay at 4ohms.
  9. Ok thanks thats what i was thinking just making sure i was correct.
  10. I have a 9512 D2 hooked up to a RF T2000bd. I currently have it running at 4 ohms. I have my gained turned a little more than half way up to prevent clipping. My friend and I got into a discussion about how i should be able to turn my gain up full safely since im only running it a 4 ohms. My thoughts were even at a low power I would still create a clipped signal which would damage my equipment. My question is since im running my amp at such little power and great efficiency would i be able to turn my gain up all the way and be safe at the low levels of power?
  11. I have them running through the stock wiring harness into the head unit, i dont have a amp for my highs and mids yet.
  12. Ok ill test it tomorrow and hopefully get it all scoped this weekend. Thanks and whats hood bumpin
  13. the max is 62 and im going to 45. it starts to distort at around 52ish and i get little dim so i dont think im clipping it, but i could be.
  14. Ok well ill try plugging it back in tomorrow and see what happens. If it doesn't work ill take it back to best buy. i got the two year replacement so ill just swap it out and see if it happens again.
  15. thats possible. would the heat cause the amp to shut off all the way and cut the mids and highs?
