  2. Hi Guys, dam i forgot to post the pics here, so better late than never. i attend the Bangkok Motor show at the end of march and they've got some interesting stuff. here's the pics!
  3. I totally agree with meade. free air is just a " slang" that is easier to understand as compared to " infinite baffle" but when u lay the woofer on the floor and u power it up, it TOO is also called free air. so 1 term can refer to 2 kinds of application just like the term " weed". weed = pot rite? but weeds are also those shurbs that grow in ur garden? 1 word, 2 applications. from my understanding, free air application is commonly used in SQ setups. you'll mostly never find a hard bumping 140+ to 150+ setup on a free air application. the benefits of free air setups is that the sub is able to get insanely low and very easily. thus you'll be achieve the low fill without much effort. But the cons abt free air is that it will definitely lack the " thump" as compared to a sub in an enclosure if i'm not wrong wrong, power handling wise, it'll not be as strong as that of a sub in a box. but good thing is, u save space in the trunk! Lastly, when i mean SQ, i mean REAL SQ, where the sub is more of meant to be felt slightly, but not heard.
  4. yoyo. i'm making my own line 1/0 gauge cable.. hahaha.. my current line of cable is 4707 strand.. my next line will have a bigger count than knuconcept ( with a nice flexy casing).. hehehe.. but the RF cable is pretty beefy..
  5. Hi Guys as some of you know, i'm with Atomic and have been helping them for awhile. Though i have not been that active here, behind the scenes, i've been assisting Atomic develop some products We have been looking into the SQ market and i've been sourcing for stuff for them all over the world and researching things for them. I've done testing on prototype products and given feed back. I've been negotiating with various other OEM manufacturers regarding amplifiers for them and have gotten some interesting contacts. Also recently, i've been helping them regarding distributor matters in Asia. As of today onwards, i will no longer be with Atomic as it seems they do not appreciate my contribution. I still believe in their products as they really kick ass, but after having helped them so some time in so many ways and getting this kind of treatment from them, I am definitely disappointed with the way they handle matters with me. I will still continue to use their sub woofers ( they still rock). If there are any other manufacturers in here who wish for someone to help them manage matters in the asian region, drop me a PM and we can talk. I have my contacts down here and i know how each country's market works. Also, on my own, i've been doing some small dealings and i will be manufacturing my own line of car audio accessories. I am starting out with fuse blocks and battery terminals. i'm waiting for my sample 1/0 gauge cables to come in. If anyone wishes to order a sh1t load of cables in bulk in the near future OR wish to have their own line of cables and accessories, drop me a PM. For all those who have supported me while i was with Atomic, i thank you all. Cheers Russ
  6. hey steve. sorry to hear the bad news. about flying, don worry man, it'll be ok.. if ur really freaked out, take a valium or something to calm ur nerves.. or just take something to put u to sleep as soon as u get onto the place. my flights to the US are ard 15-16 hrs long... so i've had it worse ( i hate to fly.. haha). everything will be fine

  8. Hi guys. lets have some fun. who can tell me what is wrong with this page. this pic was taken from a Singapore car magazine ( where i'm from). the car in the pic is from malaysia. come, whats wrong.. heheh
  9. Plss get ur facts right. "twister" is not the brand, as is " GT trading" the Brand of the amp is " audiosystem". . Twister is a cheap brand from china in the league of Pyle and Rockwood. amp is good, but no where as near as how u describe. definitely not " TOP END". a cheap rockford power mini will kick its ass anyday. that amp retails for below $1k brand new down here ( 4 channel is around $550 USD down here). furthermore, CDT aint that high end either. Cheers

  13. yo man! thanks for the info man! very helpful indeed if i'm not wrong, the truck in a common rail engine. here's a link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsubishi_L200 as for the emission problem thing, here's the thing: for new vehicles, the first 3 yrs u do not need to have any sort of inspection. so its pretty ok to screw ard with ur engine. aniway, it seems that diesel engines are hard to mod eh. ok assuming, is it possible to add on a unichip into the ecu and tune it for a bit more power? Or watever works on normal cars wont work on a diesel engine? THanks man Cheers
  14. don laugh its a pussy mitsubishi L200 ( think u guys call it the Mighty Max). its the 2007 model. 2.5L Turbo diesel. just hoping for a boost in some performance. heheh
  15. hi guy, just curious, how do u mod up a diesel engine? for normal petrol engines, open pod + exhuast + piggy back will give a nice nice boost. but how abt diesel engines? read somewhere that diesen engines don work on the air fuel ratio thing or someting. anyone care to share?
