well im looking at it form memphis's point of view.thats all i been seeing for 3 weeks.i love her i know shes the one but its not the life i wanna live.i want my girl there everynight.and shes not gonna be.its basically like this option 1. live the life you dont want with the one you love option 2. live the life you love and have to replace the one you love

well as some of you know my fiancee enrolled in the coastguard and graduates this friday im goin to NJ for her graduation this weekend.well i was against her going and told her id break up with her if she went and that she needed to go to college.then she said shed be a secretery type person work on base and hve on job training and she'd be free on at nights after 5 to come home o shes doing recruiting back home for 2 weeks then leaving and we were supposed to move.so basically after the 2 weeks we'd move and shed be home everynight plus she said if i stuck with her shed pay for my subs .that and the fact our house and groceries are payed and she said shed be making 3g's a month.well turns out she got stationed in memphis as a buoy tender. there gone for 1 - 4 days and theres this thing where she has to be watchmen certified which takes 2 -4 weeks and that she cant live off base for that even at her own expense.meaning shes not gonna be home everynight shes maing 1500 a month which aint shit.so long story short everything i been told so far has been a lie.plus she wants me to move.but my whole life everything i've ever known has been down here its 8 hours away.and i dont wanna be up there and come home to an empty house hlaf the month while my girl is on a ship with a bunch of guys.i kno she aint like that but i heard stories and know how guys are.and i dont think i can deal with it its already been 2 months since i seen her and now its looking like its gonna be another month after these 2 weeks shes here for while shes up there.and everytime i ask her stuff its like she doesnt know anything.shes known her orders for 3 weeks now and only knows that shes going to memphis and her boat is gone for 1 - 4 days.she really wants to get married but i dont wanna be just married and home alone half the time.call me selfish call me whatever but its so hard to sacrifice my whole life to spend it with someone i'll only see half the month pretty much might be more than that it might be less but i just cant deal with it the past 3 weeks i havent been able to do nothing.normally my system is my get away but i cant do anymore to it cause i gotta save for US! and it used to be fishing for my getaway but i just think about it even more. i need you guys input please help

nah the 2x4 are bolted to the seat frame bolts it aint going no where and im trying to do it right this is just doing the floor boxing it in trying to hie all the ugly stuff

i got some scrap wood and used it for my bracing on the bottom took some speed bores did i believe it was 3/8 for the bolt and 1 " so the socket could go down in it and bolted 2x4's where the seats used to go to make sure its good and sturdy remember its scrap wood and its all gonna be covered up. i had to put the 3/4" mdf over the 2x4's to get it enough clearance for the bottom of the wall to cover the middle seat bolts there a tad higher than the rest but heres the pic not a close up but you pretty much get the idea.never mind the wiring either had to move alot around got it looking neat now lol.

what do you mean risk damaging the sub?it took 2500 for a day or two then it started doing it i think its a defect that just took a lil power to make worse.and 7.5 would probably be better musically and handle more power

when i do my wall that seems to be the best one but im gonna play a test tone cd and see what note it is causing it i'll try to record it so ya'll can hear it its on dj magic mike feel the bass

its cool thats what everyone says when i get the money im gonna do one 7.5 and 150 si port

11 cubes 182 square inches of port 42hz it picks up all kind of music at 35hz it wouldnt do nothing but lows

i turned it to 1/3 and it the bass boost was half and yes the sub has cooling but it wasnt the air getting sucked into it adn the box is 11 cubes but i talked to aotmic and they said it was good

its not doing it free air but there is a jingle noise cominf from under the spider is that normal it sounds like when your voice coils shatered or whatever but only on high volume

a little bit but not alot.i never had the problem so i dont know how to fix it especially when theres so many things that can cause it

the sub has never bottomed out even with about 2500 rms it never did when its making that noise the sub isnt really moving that far

atomic 5000.1 what should my bass boost be set at i got it on 18db lol its wide open should i turn it down and then turn my gain up a lil bit my gain isnt quite half way but my bass boost is all the way up

no same box just started it about 2 days ago maybe it is clipping i noticed its only one on or 2 cds it does it wish i had my pioneer with my ipod hook up i'll try it on an actual cd not a burned one and the sub can handle as much as 13 cubic feet with twice the port area i got george from atomic told me i can do 5000 watts with the box i got so i know its not that

what would cause clipping? the amp is 1500 rms at 4 ohms i got a kinetik 1400 and 180 amp alt and voltage dont drop so i dont see how i'd be clipping it

nah i seriouly doubt its clipping and i know its not bottoming out it has a 2 1/2" excursion motor its just one some notes. i'll try the coil thing when i find my volt meter

no tried that pushed on the center and squeezed the sides to see if it was wobbling didnt hear nothing so im not sure is there a way to test the coils?

well on certain notes it sounds like a rattling noise i let my buddy hear it and he said it was distortion cause my voltage was dropping so i seriesed my voice coils at 4 ohms and he said my lpf was set to high so he changed it now im picking up less notes and its still doing it.any ideas on what it is on most notes its real clear and hard but then on some theres no sound just that rattling noise and my voltage dont drop at all now so i know its not distortion i think its a defect in the speaker
