on my radio i keep my sub on negative 6 - 0 is that what what yall are talking bass boost or the actual bass boost part on the cd player cause my pioneer is the first one i've had that had an actual bass boost function

well here it goes im 19.my brother is fixing to turn 11 he has autism and albinism and only has about about 40% the vision he should.also low white blood cells i believe so whenever he gets sick i get really worried. and my older sister is 22 and has 2 kids not with either of the dads.they were both crackheads and alcoholics and the one she has now is the same.she lies and barrows money all the time.the only reason she has a place to stay is because fema and it happens to be next door we never see her unless she wants a babysitter or money.and she steals from my parents all the time i see her going through there trucks and shit.also we found out last year i have another sister my mom is pissed about that cause its not be her lol so my parents almost broke up.my dad barely works he has a lawncare buisness but all he does is hunt and fish and my mom collects un employment and has cancer in her arm its been removed twice and spread both times just got done with a 3rd surgery.and she cant get a job of she keeps having surgery and what not.but with my parents theyve done for more or me than anybody ever would there always there.and my g/f goes to bootcamp monday and when she gets out we're moving.my parents are renting a trailer we lost our house in katrina and its been downhill ever since and i feel like im abandoning my parents when they need me the most my mom is real upset cause im the one that balances everything out referee i guess you'd call it.and i fear for my brother leaving him my dads getting mid 40's he cant work to much longer ya know.my plan was to spend my income tax on me to reward myself basically.then my girlfriend talked me into spending 50% so i can save the rest for when we move.i was fine with that now i find out when she graduates i gotta spend 500 on a plane ticket 300-400 on a hotel for 3 days plus taxi fee to get around so i dont know if im being selfish about it but this is starting to be more than i can bare paycheck to paycheck get my bonus then its gotta go to plane tickets and all that. great kickoff for 08

lol i got a 400.4 soundstream im using on some infinitis now. im gonna bridge the channels so its 200x2 and the midranges im gonna run off the headunit there 12 rms and my radio is 22 so we'll see how it holds up

yes thats exactly it im running all my mids and highs off a bx1605D which is a class D MONO no hpf which i stated i'll be running everything on hpf (different amp maybe?)

well then thats what im looking to do is a 2 way then will the crossover on my amp work or should i get a different one first time setting up something this complex

yea i know but i dont want any midbass i just want the sound but most speaker sets i heard were set as more highs and i just want the vocals really so im think im gonna try it it'll be like a house setup a mid bass a midrange and a tweet so it should be ok i guess

welli want my 8's for just vocals and i want the 4's to bring out the rest like the higher sound and tick but still getting my vocals through them and my tweeters are there for the extra lil tick but i might just put another mid in the a pillar im just wondering if its gonna work before i do it lol

well know his are sharing air space but it just lacked vocals for how i like them.thats why i was wanting 2 run a 8" focal coaxial but im gona get with him and see if i can play with them and see if i can get the vocals up on them before i buy a pair

i was listening to my buddies atomic 3 way components and he has the whole set in each door and it has to much high in it and not enough vocals but im thiinking he ust had it tuned different then i would've.but im wondering i want more of a front stage setup so i was thiking about putting the 4" mid at the bottom of the a pillar has anybody done this i've seen 6.5's and 4"s in them but would it make a big difference like i think it will

i believe it has to do with how sound waves work a sound wave is a change in air movement or something like that not sure how to say it. so i beleive with the windows up it cancels out or minimizes air movement so im guessing it restricts the waves to reach there full potential? not sure if that sounded right lol

150 + amp at idle and full output around 2000 rpms thats kinda high for the full range to kick in hell at 60 im at 1500

i'll admit thats why i got it 2300 rms and $300 lured me in thats for sure

i ran the map and loves it but more 50 more dollars on ebay you can get a kicker 1500 which is a better brand and underrated and i'd rather say i was hitting whatever i was with 1500 then 3000 watts.i've had plenty of people saying thats why its so loud its an 18 and a 3000 watt amp but when i had a 1600 they were like damn my 1600 watts dont sound like that lol

thats what i was thiking i cant really spend to much money im moving in april so im thinking just an alt an amp but i cant find a good enough amp i might try an atomic 3000 or a rockford t20001bd but i gotta get a 2400 and another run of 1/0 guage

i didnt wanna believe it cause i had it wired at 1 ohm to a btl 18 and it slammed crazy but then again its an 18 and spl of 95 so its real sensitive.but now i believe what made it so loud was the awesome box it was in (built by yours truly ) lol

well i talked to nate about an alt for my blazer and he said hes got a 300 amp alt that does 150+ idle and for 499 thats a damn good deal for it doing 150 idle and 300 cruisin but i forgot to ask what rpm it kicks in but looks like my list is made up now
