also, ive owned a kicker 2500 and now i own two T20001bds. And i liked the kicker but IMO the RF sounds better, never gets hot or anything.

that kicker 2500 will probably put out around 2800 and i would say they could take 1400 each if they are fully loaded.. i dont know what options you have. Talk to scott at FI he's a great guy he'll let you know. But you said you have dual 1's which means you couldnt wire them both to one amp at 2 ohms, and thats as low as the kickers will go so i would do either the T20001 at 1 ohm or two ZX1000 at 2 ohms each

thanks man.. i have that formula, i meant on that MTX bos steve built, how do you calculate that length? Just say 6" port width then do the 2 branches 3" at whatever length?

I got two fully loaded 15" BTLs and i need to build a new box, Im running one T20001bd to each sub, In a 2007 Ford Explorer. I want to do subs up port back, and with the port in the middle, like where steves is but top to bottom. I like it tuned low, probably 32 hz and my max dimensions are 45W x 23H and 27D. Its going to be 3/4" MDF and lots and lots of glass on the inside, mostly that 29oz mat from tap plastics. Thanks ahead of time. I also want to recess the subs so an extra 3/4" on the top baffle, while still staying under 23"

yea i wouldnt be worried at all. its basically Rockfords Official refurb store.. all the amps are fixed and refurbished by them and warrantied.

you dont have to build into it, but i would recommend building at least right up to it and sealng it off so all the port air goes through and none gets into the trunk

if i were you i would def build the port right into the ski port. ive heard some pretty loud setups with that. sorry i didnt realize you had that

To get loud inside the car the only option is really to cut through the rear deck. A little risky but be patient and careful with it and you'll be happy.
