    ha yea i know its bad. im doing two runs of 1/0 for the big 3 though and adding 3 kinetiks all to power my t30001bd's. (coming soon). but yea its def HORRIBLE right now

    hey i was just screwing around an decided to share... so i was bored and pulled out the multimeter on my kicker kx2500.1 and with a stock alt and battery and all, when volume gets loud at all, voltage goes as low as 10.0! :V then amp turns off. haha just thought i'd share. a 300 amp alt is already in the mail though..

    sweet. lol im excited now. im getting them for about a grand a piece by price-matching from cardomain.com. im gonna push them with a 300 amp alt and 3 kinetiks. hopefully it sounds good! oh yea and rays helping me with box plans.. should be crazy! thanks guys

    I have two 12" kicker Solo X subs rated at 2500 watts rms each. they are both the dual 2 ohm models. im going to put an amp on each sub but should i get the rockford t20001's and put roughly 2400-2500 to each one? or should i just go big and pound them with 3600 from the t30001s??

    no its not done yet. im re doing EVERYTHING after christmas. im going to do everything with 2 runs of 1/0. just one run should be alright for engine ground to chassis?

    alright well i can def do that! thanks man. is 2 grounds from engine to ground required too? or just all batteries?

    so running two positives from front to back means i should also run two negatives? is that really that much better than just common grounding the batteries in the trunk to a good ground and then grounding amps straight to batteries?

    i was gonna fuse both. And i was only going to do the two positives. are 2 negatives neccessary? i was going to make a real good ground in the back and and ground all to one point. its hard now to have 1 run going through the car. i cant imagine trying to run 4 runs of it! what should i do?

    well i think im going to fuse the 2 wire runs between my up front battery and batteries in back, and then one in between my last battery and the amps. is it neccessary at all to fuse between alternator and battery? or just over kill if the batetry is up front only 2 feet from alt?

    now that i think of it, i have one more. im going to run 2 runs of kicker 1/0 to the back batteries and amps. i know to fuse the wire, but do i have to fuse the 12 inches or so between batteries? or how about the 20" about from the last bat to the amps?

    I have two questions.. Im getting a 300 amp alternator, 1 kinetik 2000 as the starting battery, and 2 kinetik 2400's in the back. Im going to be running 2 rockford t30001bd's and 1 kicker 850.4, so roughly 8000 or so watts. Should the charging system be able to handle that? Number 2. With a 2000 in the front and two 2400's in the back, do i need to worry about an isolator so that they dont drain each other? or will they be ok since they are all brand new kinetiks? thanks alot
