Here's a neat little design for Russell Elcock. Three Soundstream SPL-X subs in 7ft^3 with a 34hz tuning via a pair of 18"x3" ports. This will be sealed off from the trunk of a '97 Corolla, everything firing forward.

I'm just surprised you bothered making a pair of 45" long ports period, whether it be PVC or custom made precision ports.

So your ports were 45" long each?

Indeed, you need to do something with the inside if you're going to do a plexi window.

I'm a fan of more cone area myself, so I'd go for the dual 15's.

6.5-7ft^3 with a 33-35hz tuning should slam pretty well with 2kw+ on tap.

My 28hz box picks up bass guitar just fine.

^^ I don't understand what your saying. Yes it is counting the front piece in that 15.75. So do I need to make that longer or shorter?? I was thinking that the port stopped 3" short of the back wall, so that the corner of the box would count as port length. Just trying to clarify what you have going on. `

Assuming the 15.75" port length is not counting the front piece of the box, the port is going to consider the corner of the box as port length, so that's going to drop tuning a box volume a little.

Here's a quad 10" CVR box build for Scott Sproles on here...5.25ft^3 with a 33hz tuning. This will be going in the back of a Chevy TrailBlazer.

Thanks for the compliments on the design. The whole vector thing is just over my head, I really have zero experience using any of these programs. I heard someone was using inkscape, so I downloaded it yesterday to play with it.

Any other opinions/suggestions?

Maybe I just need something with some detail in the lettering itself, but if done just 2d with a solid color can be done into a decal easily. Need to clean up a couple of things, but you get the idea.
