450 seems kinda cheap for a tc sounds lms woofer. yeah it doesn't even have the original coil, which probably took away a lot of the price.
Yeah, the LMS coil is the whole point of getting an LMS sub. Honestly, it's not even a LMS anymore, just a normal sub with a normal coil. The LMS tech in the coil is what keeps the BL so linear and allows ~3" of clean excursion.

Most shops are clueless on how to actually design and calculate for a given ported volume/tuning, which is why most of us do it ourselves or have someone actually reputable do it for us.

Bump, shipping out the first 4 orders today...get it while it's still here.

I just order me some wire3 days ago as well... do you have anything else?
Not at this moment.

Ram, best of luck to you in your venture. Yes, members are correct - if you intend to offer anything at all for sale, you need to be an SMD Partner to do so.
Thank you for respecting the rules of our community.
Thanks Tony. I will be contacting you in the future.

Not trying to intrude, but I have some 2/0 terminals if anyone needs some to go along with your purchase of this man's wire...not trying to step on your toes andale, I'll edit this if you want me to.

I DO NOT FREQUENT THE FORUMS MUCH, SO PLEASE EMAIL ME AT [email protected]
Item(s) for Sale: 8 gauge AudioPipe wire in RED and BLACK
Item(s) Description/Condition:
Brand new, off the spool...only have 250ft of each. This actually looks to be pretty nice wire, and looks like OFC to me. I did a comparison pic next to some of my Phoenix Gold 8 gauge, and they seem to be identical after twisting them as tight as I could.
Price:
$.40 per ft, minimum of 10ft (5' black and 5' red)
Shipping and Miscellaneous Item Information:
$5 for purchases up to 30ft
$10 for purchases of 40ft or more
Item Pictures:
Comparison pic next to my PG 8 gauge(AP top and PG bottom)...pretty much identical.

Wire is getting shipped out next week some time, got everything else ready...

I like using the bed-liner stuff...goes on easy enough and looks good enough for me.

n2's are pretty nasty if you're looking to not spend a fortune...

Yes, the port area is way too small. Try getting 2.25-2.5ft^3 net volume, with 30-35in^2 of port. The box will be about 50% larger than what you have right now, but the larger volume and port area will make it a good deal more efficient also.

You blokes can't complain about shipping
The q15 I got 2 months ago was $260 shipping,
That is insane.

I know why he did it. Just seems like taking the easy way out for the designer, but in turn the builder has to cut 4 extra pieces of wood. Then you have to cut two 45's in each piece of wood, with no real benefit.
Meh, I look at it as making the dimensions easier to work with for the builder. Hell, you'd be surprised how many people can't even read a tapemeasure.
-
Both of you still have not figured out port area is NOT related to box volume.
Bingo bango.
-
How much power are you putting to them?
-
Also didn't you, 412, put 45's in the sealed section of a 4th order design.
I do that to take up volume in order to make dimensions easier to work with. Like instead of having the sealed chamber be 9 9/16" deep, I'll just make it 10" and kill some volume with a 45 inside the chamber.

What vehicle is this going in?
its going on my backseat of my 2004 silverado 1500 ext cab, im going to have it behind the drivers seat.
If you have the space to leave a few inches between the box and driver side panel back there, I would fire the sub up and fire the port towards the side.

Never ever go by factory recommended enclosures...they are 99% of the time not optimal at all. They'll tell you to use small boxes and small ports so that you can fit more of their equipment in your install, instead of giving you specs for a higher performing enclosure.
-
I'd completely avoid firng the sub and port forward, if possible. Either sub forward and port up, or sub up and port towards the passenger side.

He's also the person you've got to go through to be an authorized vendor on here to sell items like this.
I have my own website to sell stuff on, and I am also a vendor on a couple other forums.
