  1. 450 seems kinda cheap for a tc sounds lms woofer. yeah it doesn't even have the original coil, which probably took away a lot of the price.

Yeah, the LMS coil is the whole point of getting an LMS sub. Honestly, it's not even a LMS anymore, just a normal sub with a normal coil. The LMS tech in the coil is what keeps the BL so linear and allows ~3" of clean excursion.

  2. I DO NOT FREQUENT THE FORUMS MUCH, SO PLEASE EMAIL ME AT [email protected]

Item(s) for Sale: 8 gauge AudioPipe wire in RED and BLACK

    Item(s) Description/Condition:

Brand new, off the spool...only have 250ft of each. This actually looks to be pretty nice wire, and looks like OFC to me. I did a comparison pic next to some of my Phoenix Gold 8 gauge, and they seem to be identical after twisting them as tight as I could.

    Price:

$.40 per ft, minimum of 10ft (5' black and 5' red)

    Shipping and Miscellaneous Item Information:

$5 for purchases up to 30ft

$10 for purchases of 40ft or more

    Item Pictures:

Comparison pic next to my PG 8 gauge(AP top and PG bottom)...pretty much identical.

  3. I know why he did it. Just seems like taking the easy way out for the designer, but in turn the builder has to cut 4 extra pieces of wood. Then you have to cut two 45's in each piece of wood, with no real benefit.

Meh, I look at it as making the dimensions easier to work with for the builder. Hell, you'd be surprised how many people can't even read a tapemeasure.

  4. Also didn't you, 412, put 45's in the sealed section of a 4th order design.

I do that to take up volume in order to make dimensions easier to work with. Like instead of having the sealed chamber be 9 9/16" deep, I'll just make it 10" and kill some volume with a 45 inside the chamber.

  5. What vehicle is this going in?

its going on my backseat of my 2004 silverado 1500 ext cab, im going to have it behind the drivers seat.

If you have the space to leave a few inches between the box and driver side panel back there, I would fire the sub up and fire the port towards the side.
