I figured it out it was my alt i tightend the belt and its working great now it wasnt getting full power thanks for the help guys...an relay is like an isolater only diffrent isolaters have an tendency to give your amp alt feed back and an relay dosnt....that is what was explained to me at an shop and its worked well for me...also i have the big three im pretty shure i posted picks of it in my build mabe i didnt though ill have to go look...

Ok lol the batt isnt conected to the front theres an relay so the back batt will never be drained by the front batt....and visa versa...i think i already know the answer to my q i just wanted to hear it from someone else...my alt dosnt put out the power i need to power my amp this is what im guessing....however i thought an 220 amp alt and an kenetic 3800 would be good for an 3600 rms amp so i think i need more batts which would level me out long enjugh to play at an comp... But i really need an bigger alt but i have no idea how much bigger...becuse i thought i already had enjugh...you guys seem to just be running left feild on me and thinking about stuff that has nothing to do with my prob....my prob is i need this to play so i can do comps later when i have more cash i want to make it so it can play all day....if i add an cap would it help any? And NO my amp isnt going into protect its just not playing when the voltege hits 12.6 which i find weird....

Volt meter...it drops when im playing i can play for 3 or 4 mins when im at 2500 rpms then my batt hits 12.6 and my amp wont play below that its weird....

Ok i have an batt running my car its just an stock batt.. big 3. ...Relay then the 3800 running just my rear amp i have an powerbasterds alt it says 110 at 1500 rpm 220 at 2500 rmp

Oi....ok each chan has 1 ohm going to it one chan one sub 1 ohm.....so together both chans they wire down to .5 ohm and this all has nothing to do with getting more power to my amp....

? I have 2. each sub is wired at 1 ohm so together they run at .5 and if i put my volt meter to them it says that there really at .75 together becuse the subs are higher then 1ohm there like 1.25 or 1.15 each cant remeber but there at .5 i dont know where you get .25 thats if there 1 ohm dvc subs wired at .5 then they make .25 i know how there wired and what there wired at....

It dosnt drop below 12.6 i see people drop in the low 10s how is 12.6 low voltige drop? And why do you say it wont last long its 1 ohm stable i did my homework and 12 volts isnt low voltge...my amp wont play at low voltige...

Ok my subs are 2 ohm dvc i have them wired down to 1 ohm my amp is an 2 chan and it says there supose to run sep channs to hit .5 ohms on this amp and get max output....so each chan has 1 ohm load

Its an new 220 alt Not stock....stock is only 80 amps..new batt new amp and its an ma 3600rms amp it has 220 amps worth of fuses and from what i understand ma is very power hungry....nothings blown it just dosnt play very long an min or two then its over powering my alt i need to get it to where i can play all day help please.....

I turn up my sytem an lil and then my alt goes crazy and my amp shuts off as soon as my voltege drops to 12.6 i found it kinda odd...but ive never ran this much power before it kinda sucks i cant keep playing my sytem for more then an min or two any suggestons?

Its going in an honda accord doors have deadner... I havent decided on the amp.... I was also thinking about useing my rf tweeds i love how they sound and useing the pioneer mids...just kicking around my thoughts....

Judges will help you determine what class your vehicle will work in ... Best of luck to you bro ... This could be an good thing i was under the impresson i had to do both.... i was stressin lol. ...i have the spl part ready to go but sq i was like well time to learn something new lol...... Ok well i still would like to get an good stage anyhow just so i know its there if i need it....

I was thinking about getting one....but the guy at my local shop says id be better going with an 30 band eq....im thinking in the 5-600 doller range.....i have some rf componets but my mids were shot out of the box....
