  1. Crazy! Hope they're alright. I don't understand the reasoning for it other than attempted suicide.
  2. I don't think he competes. Maybe I've just had it instilled as a necessity since he always claims it to be important. Likewise, I'm in the mindset to completely remove my rear speakers as he says they conflict with the sub, making less bass response entering the cabin. Not sure if they're entirely necessary. It's one less thing to upgrade, too. I'm still running stock speakers so I'm sure it will be night and day either way. When I install them I wanted to run new speaker wire. Not sure how difficult that could be. Playing with the headunit for new accords is an utter nightmare.
  3. I've been getting a lot of information from an acoustics engineer on one of the Honda Forums I frequent. He insists that it is a must to baffle your door speakers. He details the installation here: http://www.hondaaccordforum.com/forum/audio-visual-electronics-10/installing-door-speakers-sound-deadening-more-32679/
  4. Yeah, I actually have a friend that could help with running wires. I wanted to find a shop that could make a baffle for the Hertz speakers and deaden my doors.
  5. Not sure if I'd have everything required, but I've definitely got a good supply of tools. All I have so far is the sub and amp. The box is coming from Argent Audio and I'm planning on buying the rest within the next 2 weeks. I've been searching my local area for a respected shop to install everything. There's not much around here.
  6. I'm relatively new to car audio. I've only been dabbling in it for a year and since I have a new car I have the shop do most of the install work to avoid screwing things up. With this topic I'm looking for any advice you guys could lend me as I transition into a full build for my car. Car: 2009 Honda Accord Sedan Currently Installed: AVH-P3200DVD 4awg Streetwire JL 10w6v2 in sealed enclosure JL 500/1v2 Plan to Install: AA Havoc 12" in ported enclosure SAZ-1500D 1/0 Stinger kit ESK 3-way Hertz Speakers SAZ 100.2 Rammat BXTII Deadening (I plan on removing the rear speakers entirely as well) Right now what I'm concerned about is the electrical. I'm running stock batt and alt. Would it be better to upgrade my main battery or just get one for the trunk? Both? Should I upgrade the alt? I don't know the amperage of the stock alt so I'll have to get back to you guys on that one. Also, I haven't done the Big 3 either. How much 1/0 wire would suffice for the process? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
  7. I have a similar question and thought it would be better to ask in here than make my own thread. I have a 2009 Accord Sedan and am going to run my 12" Havoc off of a SAZ-1500D with stock alt and battery. However, I wanted to run everything solely off an HC2400 in the back. Will I be alright? I'll be upgrading from 4awg to a Stinger 1/0awg kit. I haven't done the Big 3, but I suppose I can have the shop do that for me when I put everything in. Am I going to need more 1/0 power wire than the kit provides to do the Big 3? Any information would be greatly appreciated!
  8. $300 shipped with knob and in good condition
  9. Not sure I want to risk getting an unproven or non brand name product. With all the SA love here, someone has to have a SAZ 1500D to part with
  10. Just wanted to say that this is an absolutely fantastic deal. I might have a friend who is interested.
  11. If you have luck, sundowns have a 1500 D for 350 shipped. Thanks, I sent him an e-mail. If anyone has a used amp I'd still be willing to purchase as well.
  12. I'm looking for a Sundown Audio SAZ-1500D that is in good condition with its bass knob. I had a deal with an eBay user yet he backed out like a scumbag and sold it off last second. Hoping to use it to push my new AA Havoc 12"
  13. Dealer near 12590? Inbox is full

  14. I sent you an e-mail because your PM box is full. Not sure if you received it.
