  1. im getting a sax-1200d and a sa-12, not sure if I'll run them together or not as I have a few different amps I may use.... I have a jbl/crown bpx 500.1 or a jbl 600.2 I may use... or use the 1200d it will maily be for my daily set up in my civic as I already have a DC level 4 15" I plan on using for car shows/ competitions or any other need...
  2. Meeting up with Derrick this morning to pick up some sundown goodies! Totally stoked! Pics to follow! This will be my first of SA gear!
  3. HMMMM... does that mean its possible my level 3 15" I ordered Monday 1/14 with CJ18 will go out today?
  4. Man, you did everything right, just don't have the posts to sell here on SMD.
  5. I'm assuming you meant 6" long? what diameter?
  6. max height is 18", max width is 40", max depth is 28" how long each were the 2 6" ports? so the box could be 16.5H and that would leave 3-4" of external port room for the rear deck speaker grill to the box. what exact specs were you using? I've been playing with it on the box building calculator
  7. Level 3 15" off a Crown/JBL BPX500.1 in my 06 honda civic sedan: In need of some help box design wise. I'd like to do a ported box using aero ports through the rear deck so either sub fwd port up or sub back port up. I want it to be tuned between 32-35hz since i listen to a few types of music. Also I think my car peaks at around 50-52HZ not sure what factor that plays into the tuning of the port/box. Dimensions would be around: Width:40" max Height 18" max Depth: 11" (depth can be up to 24) Issue is: using 2 6in aero ports will be to much port and 1 6in will not be enough. SO I can either use: 3 4" ports w/ total port length 26" @ 32HZ or find someone who makes a 7in port and use 1 7in port 26"L @34.54HZ Input please
  8. thanks for clarifying! exactly correct! just hoping now that I can squeeze this thing vertically in my trunk it's gonna be tight! sub up port back is no issue just hope I can make it work to show off that sexy dust cap!
  9. I hope so!!! I'm going from a JBL GTO12 on a rockford 400w to this 15' level 3 on a jbl/crown bpx500.1 which should do around 750w clean
