Cool! That's a beast looking blow through, alot like the AI gmc and that truck is awesome!Well it had crossed my mind, but a very knowledgeable guy gave me the design so I'm feeling confident I won't have any issues with it.
Thanks man! I hope it turns out good

Geeez man you make it look so easy! I like how you trimmed the edges on the SMD gauges to butt them all together clean.
Oh and congrats on the mag feature too!!

No, Eastvale is in the Corona area...this community is on the south side of Citrus west of Hamner. It borders the Santa Ana River.
-
Lol if that worked I'd get me a new house there! Seriously though, I just drove by that site and it is going to be a REALLY nice community. Way outta my price range I'm sure though lol.
Are you and your wife still looking to buy soon?
-
Its in Eastvale...I don't know if it would get you a better price though, all the soil compaction tests passed during the job. Plus I was the one who built all those pads so I assure you they are top notch!

Sooo, what is being built on this "quicksand"? LOL
LOL they are building some really nice houses on it actually. But we put about 35' of fill on top of this whole area so it's plenty stable now

On that particular job the material was real granular and sandy, and the water table was only a few feet below the ground right there. Sandy, granular material has an extremely high compression tolerance but hardly any binder in it so instead if compacting and holding together it was able to act almost as a liquid but still support an immense amount of weight. That's crazy. Any idea why the dirt was like that?
Edit- However, if you continue to shake a confined area of the high moisture material, it would eventually break down and liquefy...which is known as liquefaction and the material wouldn't be able to hold much weight at all and kinda act like quicksand.

A couple of videos from a jobsite I was on...liquid earth!
That dozer weighs about 150,000 pounds and is tracking across the same exact spot as the video with my foot.

Ill never use Tnuts again. Last time I did, I got to the last one on my 18's, and the fucker pushed through. Pull the sub and start over again.
Why doesn't anyone seem to just glue their t-nuts in?
I used CA glue on all of mine and still had one strip out of the wood...so I'm with everyone that says "fuck t-nuts" lol

The Biebs is running DC power.
I don't want to live on this planet anymore.
I'd bet my yearly salary that he doesn't even know what an alternator does.
