Yeah I'll probably upgrade to both xs after awhile but I stupidly bought the optima cause my original battery was done and it's in my daily truck....

I believe they are REALLY underrated! I've read alot of people powering the sa12's with more than that so I think I'll be ok...lol I just want some opinions on my battery situation?

Umm the 2500 puts out 4000? I was told alot of people run the 2500 to 2 sa's no problem....I just want to get louder so thought jumping to 2500 would do it according to a post I put up and answers I recieved about that question...

Hey guys I have 2 sa12's and and running off of a sax 1200d and plan on jumping to the saz 2500d. I have a yellow top optima under the hood now and I have an xs power 3400 on it's way, I have heard it's not good to mix batteries but I really don't want my optima to go to waste, I just bought it like 2 weeks ago. If it's ok to mix both will go under the hood, which one should go to the amps...

I'm actually getting an xs power 3400 for under the hood, not sure what second battery I should get? Then I'll do alt. I've also decided to get the saz 2500! I have not deadened truck??

Ok ive decided to change my yellow top to a xspower 3400, so what other battery would I need to support this?

Ok thanks guys! It sounds great but you all know after a bit we want louder! So I'll stick with this until I upgrade again! Ram did do a hell if a job with this design it's tuned at 45hz in a bandpass, get pretty damn low...

Oh ok well music sounds great right now! So may not want to shorten then? Any other suggestions on how to get louder?

Would adding a second yellow top under the hood work?

So shortening port would make it louder?

Yeah I told him 4th order bandpass and he said that's 2 different things! Lol

Yeah I know! What do you think of it? I'm not doing any comp stuff it's a daily driver, could I get it louder to the ear? It's already pounding but as always want more!

Anybody? Sum guy at car stereo place said I could get louder by doing this of course since he never heard of sundown and he is a kicker guy he knows he could have built box to be louder, and suggested shortening the port to like 8"???

I was wondering if in my current box I was to shorten my port if I could get LOUDER? I have 2sa12's in a blowthrough running off a sax1200d...
