  2. They got my sister about a month and a half ago. She is in South Carolina. They said they were from Microsoft (here on out refered to as M$) and that they have to install an outdated certificate. She also has 8 kids - home for the summer - all running around the house and stuff, so she was distracted. She let them remote in, probably installed some trojn or backdoor. She called me immediately after to see if it was legit - a little to late right. I told her to immediately disconnect from the network and reimage, change all her password from another device and call her banks to get replacement debit cards. Also report to Credit agency and FBI etc. Not much they can really do but just to cover her ass.

  3. I just wanted to note that on my cheap a$$ Belkin router QoS sux. When enabled it limits my bandwidth when nothing else is being used.

Example: when I download a game through Steam with QoS on it limits the download to 1mb (this is with no other application running) and it prevent all other programs AND all other devices on the network from accessing the internet. With QoS disabled Steam jumps up to 3+MB download and all devices and applications begin to work again. There are VERY limited options to configure QoS on my router.
