there really is no bad choice in this decision man. Id say run DC b/c of cs, and rusty is on this site so you can get a hold of him at your convenience, but other then that it really doesn't matter. imo

I honestly dont think that you are ready for a BTL. You would be better off with probably 2 15" BLs or something along those lines.

assuming your amps have HPF and LPF you can split the signal with y-adapters. run one to the highs amps and set that amp to HPF and the other to the sub amps and set that one to LPF. what amps are they?

I would take the amp out of the car , hook it up straight to a 12v source and see what it does with nothing else hooked up to it other than power , ground and remote . If it does the same thing .. its time to take the amp apart and inspect it for any visual damage... then time to send it to DB-r !
