  1. ah I wish, but no not that big. Just won enough money to not really touch the stash I went with
  2. Thanks guys! I spent my bday and that weekend in Vegas...Had to do it up! haha. The wife and I stayed at the Luxor (which is where we got married @ a little over 3 years ago) and had a ton of fun. For once I actually came home with $$$$!
  3. Just as an FYI - The T3002 is NOT 1 OHM STABLE. It is stable down to 2 ohms bridged, 1 ohm stereo.
  4. Not lookin' for top of the line but something that will get the job done. Hopefully it is fairly new and lightly used. Looking to run 5.1 but 7.1 would be a plus. Let me know what you have!
  5. Alpine did a good job with their head units this year...They look awesome! However it's getting harder and harder to compete with the OEM head units that come in the new cars today. For example Chrysler/Dodge has the MyGig hard drive built into the navi piece!
  6. I looked on RE's website and I didn't find what I was looking for... - What is the warranty like on a sub that costs $2k? For example the RE XXX 18" ?
  7. Honestly man, I wouldn't recommend running that amp that low. 2 ohms bridged is the lowest it can go and be "stable." If you go any lower than that you are going to experience less output as the unit will get so hot the fets won't be able to run properly and the amp will go into protection mode, or worse - fry.
  8. Let's not get immature about it Mtxcivic07. Name calling is a no-no.
  9. Are you sure you want to stand by an amp like that? I don't even think they design their own products. They just pick the stuff already on the shelf over there in the far east. I remember hearing back in the day @ rockford they used to hit the top of the amp with a rubber mallet..."torture tested" fo sho!
  10. I didn't really read the thread much but pick the T3002. Good choice The wall-o-bass was ran by the T3002 and that was powering 32 woofers and 4 sets of 6*9 i believe.
  11. Well I wouldn't say it is a design flaw but more like a Friday afternoon amp haha. Honestly though the part should probably be replaced and resoldering it will not likely solve the problem. I would spend the dough and have the factory do the work - they warranty it then right?
  12. That is a capacitor and your amp will work for a while but it will eventually die or not give you as much output. I would get it fixed...if you continue to wait more things could blow or fail inside just because of that little piece.
  13. Sorry to hear about that man, hope everything comes out ok. we were hit by a drunk driver (wife and I) in november 05 and we just settled last month. crazy! I think all people who sit behind the wheel drunk should die...no excuse. Except they are the ones that live when others die...
  14. Thank you for the quick edit! At least it gives me an idea Thanks guys for the comments.
  15. Have one new in box you need to get rid of? :^ Let me know.
  16. Yah but I don't like them. Their good but I can get amp for alot cheaper. But that cheaper route would not be through an authorized dealer, would it?
  17. I have "heard" that, but I don't know how true it is... Really the big thing is losing your DIC (driver information center). But you can retain those features by either using the Metra kit or the Scosche kit.
  18. Well I don't think I'm going to go big big, but I will probably do 18's... A buddy of mine has a set of these brand new: http://www.mhtwheels.com/wheel.cfm?brand=4&cat=112 Man those r purrty!
  19. TheDave

    got my new amp

Damn Accordman, check the 3rd post!!!!!
  20. Sounds like a plan, anyone good with PS to do something like that? I can provide a pic of the rim...
  21. You can have it! :^ Just come by and pick up the keys!! hahaha It rides nice!! Very quiet inside and good acceleration and brakes...The only thing that sorta bugs me is the steering, as it feels sloppy and very easy to turn @ slow speeds. But as you speed up the steering gets tight and is more manageable. Overall it's a great car and fun to drive! Thinkin bout putin some 18" Foose Nitrous rims on it...but not sure how that would look...
  22. Ha ha, no that is like an "industrial park" next to where I live...Pretty good spot for pics. I bet with Meades tahoe goin' those windows would slide right out and fall down, hahaha.
  23. Picked her up for $17000...not bad imo! Plans for the trunk are top secret...Well at least until CES then I'll spill the beans. At the very least I am doing a RF 3Sixty.2 Signal Processor as I want to keep the dash lookin' stock. The trunk is going to have a woofer or two but I need to keep some space for trips to Ikea or the grocery store...haha
