By bogging out and not starting, do you think it feels or sounds like it's getting too much gas to the point it's flooding?
If so then that could be something as simple as a bad sensor somewhere, notorious on these vehicles...check your coolant temp sensor, O2 sensors and MAF sensor
If they're bad it's telling the computer to richen or lean the hell out of your fuel which would explain your problems
ex: bad coolant temp sensor saying it's -40 degrees -> tells pcm MOAR FUEL -> dies at idle
thats very true but these should also throw a check engine light but don"t allways

The FEDS problem IS the state laws. The Feds dont like not being in complete control of every aspect of our lives.. So they use the whole Fed law supersedes state law as a cop to enforce whatever they think is best for us. It is sad the our federal gov't has changed and grown into this monster that is so far removed from what our fore fathers meant for it to be. Luckily there are a small handful of politicians out there like Ron Paul, that do not have their heads completely up their asses and want to return things to what they should be.

does it sound like its miss firing when its running or when you push the throttle

thats a good sign means your injectors and regulater is not leaking witch tells me your regulater is good sounds like its a cloged injector or 2 and it could be timming but if somthing was wrong in your timming i think a code would be present

could be does your fuel system hold pressure when the truck is off?

you cant unplug the electrical plugs?

sry i edited also when you have your fuel pressure gauge on there does it hold the 50 psi after you shut the truck off ? if it don't then you ether have a leak in your line or a leaky injector or a bad fuel pressure regulator

fuel pressure is good look at the mass and tps those should throw a code but not allays and unplug a fuel injector one at a time and see if it makes a deference if it don't make a deference on one you pull its bad or clogged and do the same on plug wires

when was the last time you gave it a tuneup? when was the last time you put fuel system cleaner in it? go get a bottle of Seafoam and dump it in your tank then go fill up. let the truck sit overnight to dissolve all the shit in your fuel system start up your truck in the morning and let it run for a lil while. see if it runs better.
Fuel system cleaner is great, if you want your seals to fall apart in the next 500 miles.
Also, dont EVER put seafoam in your gas unless its the rare seafoam made specifically to be put in gas. The way you should use seafoam would be to add it to your oil, let the engine idle for 10 min, then drain the oil, and replace it. I really hope you dont put seafoam in your gas.
yea i hate seafoam and fuel system cleaners they are junk

is your check engine light on if not a code reader want help also do you have a fuel pressure gauge? and try unpluging the mass air flow metter and see how it runs when you unplug a elctronic seanser or any thing your ecu goes into a limp mode so you can get it to a shop but it will run beter with a bad part unpluged than reading a bad part
