    "@Andrew It's not annoying actually, it's a hobby. Participants in the car audio community that actually have RESPECT and MANNERS, and actually think about others around them when playing their stereos at high listening levels get a bum rap. It's all of the rude braindead jerks out there who bump in residential areas, busy parking lots, at night and at stoplights/stopsigns that give us a bad name. There are unwritten rules of bumping that a lot of stereo guru's follow everyday. I am one of them. I have respect for others and turn my stereo down in the afformentioned areas to respect others because I have a higher responsibilty than them. Steve Meade (the man in the video) is a well known stereo buff who has respect for others. This video was shot in his private shop where he works on his cars, where no one would be bothered by the bass. This hobby has always been looked down upon due to the ignorant jerks who give us a bad name, and the circulated stereotypes through either word of mouth or even on the internet (check the description of the video). It is our right and choice put whatever type of speakers we want into our cars, and no one will take away our right. I do feel bad for you, and any other person who has to deal with douchebags who have no common sense. Karma, and voltage drop will be their demise.

    Good amp....Cheap price...

    Soundstream has some good stuff too.

    i am going with the PERFORMANCE TEKNIQUE ICBM2400 seen a very large handful of good reviews

    Your subs won't suffer when being "underpowered" !!

    When you're listening at low volume, they have no problems, right ?! So, they don't need full power to be safe !!! don't worry !

    but i hear that most subs are ruined by being underpowered and my amp is sorted becoming goofy it is loud sometimes and quiet others (after i start my car) and it is worrying me

    how about a soundstream DTR1.1700D or soundstream PX1.1300D can find both for about $200

    PERFORMANCE TEKNIQUE ICBM2400 for $198 or a PLANET AUDIO AC2500.1M this one has a big ?mark all over it from me

    i wanna keep it around $ 200 max $140 min.

    ok so now i am looking for a good reliable budget amp cause this is beginning to aggravate me i understand AQ is a good brand but i need something that isn't going to take me 2 months to get cause by then i am scared that my subs are gonna go to shit with being under powered

    Dude your car is awesome please save up and buy a nice amp or if your stuck please get AQ dont go the easy way out thats what i did and i learned my lesson

    ahhh i never had a vid up of my car unless you went to youtube and looked at it btw here is my vid from yesterday

    and just so you know my voice sounds way different than the camera makes it sound

    With your subs coil configuration most likely your going to wire your subs at 2 ohms right. I would look for a amp that rated at 1500 wrms at 2 ohms. IMO Maybe look into a audioque 2200.

    if money grew on trees i would :lol: but if that was the case i would be done by now so until then i will continue to work my ass off for my $170 checks every 2 weeks

    Save a few checks and pick up a AQ2200 :) You get what you pay for!

    i know man but i am buying another box some time between this week and next week and getting rid of my sound storm asap that and i am having problems finding them for cheap that and i am pretty sure i could get rid of my audiopipe when i get the money for the AQ2200

    so now the real question begins should get a 1000 watt audiopipe or a 1500 watt

    here is a video of the spl gorilla at work

    just decided to throw it up

    i saw a vid he made later he said he was only getting about 800 watts :( so i guess i am going with audiopipe

    :bull: i should have got dual 4 ohms voice coils

    for an audiopipe amp to run my dual 2 ohm voice coils i would have to get a AP30001D and then still turn down the gain cause i would run it at two ohms

    yea i don't tink too clearly when i am tired just ignore this post <_<

    Having troubles deciding which amp to get both i can find for $169.95

    Power acoustiks stax4000/1D

    or

    SPL grla3000/1D

    i am leaning towards the power acoustiks but i am not sure of either amp

    I realized this now i probably should have added that my subs are 750 rms each and have dual 2 ohm coils

    so i am going with a audiopipe now so ignore the amps above

    i have a sound storm ev2500m just wanna better amp than this
