Oh yeah thats another question. Sense im going to have 2 subs in one box does that mean im going to need double the cubic feet for the box? So with 2 subs im going to need 8-20cubic ft?
-
There site say anywhere from 4-10Cu ft

wow that really clears alot up. thanks for making that cut and dry. i see alot of people talking about fiberglassing the inside. Thats just for extra strength? and are 2x4s the way to go when bracing?

I have 2 18" btls with 2 AQ3500s. and i want to build a "wall" in the back of my ranger for them. the room i have is about 36" high 15" deep and 48" wide. Im not looking for someone to design it for me. i want to learn and understand how the ports work. I see that its there slot or aero port. and i was going to do a slot port towards the top with the subs at the bottom. im using the cal. that torres made and i dont understand what the woofer displacement or brace displacement means. i know i probably got myself in way over my head if i want it tuned to anything but now i have to learn and this seems like a awesome place to learn. Thanks for any help.

ford ranger alternator question
MrEwubbsZ replied to MrEwubbsZ's topic in MechMan Alternators and 12v Accessories
So the fact that its a little 4 cyl doesnt make any difference. It will be able to power a big alternator? -
I have a 2000 4cyl 2.5 ranger and i was looking at sites for bigger alternators (300amp) and every site i look at it says that its for a 6cyl and the option for a 4cyl isnt there. Can i put a 300amp alternator in my truck?
