Hey bud, I paid for the damn thing, if I wanna give it a shot ill give it a shot. So dont get butt hurt. Im not trying to screw over anyone, I feel that the amp shouldnt have done that considering the gain was still halfway down.. Also considering when it happened I was hardly playing them at what.. volume 10-15.. and they normally take alot more.. Legit enough for me.. They werent going through hell.. Kinda disappointed in the subs. Not to mention a few people on this site in the first place saying my amp wont even put out its full potential, and will prolly put out slightly less rms than the subs are capable of. Lol yea.. thanks man. Mine are the champ series pro rated 1krms each.

If I were a dealer/manufacturer, I wouldnt cover it. How is it their fault that you dont know how to tune an amp and make a proper box? Re-read your warranty and check what it says about you damaging the woofer. I wouldnt cover it either. There is loop holes. So no need to bash, it was my fault, but TECHNICALLY wasnt. If the next warantee doesnt cover it then ill attempt to fix the god damned subs. I didnt post vids to be ragged on. So everyone can quit suggesting a DMM, does it look like its a good time for that? Pretty damn sure its too late for that.. Not positive. But fuck im pretty damn sure. Fool proof works for me.. Havent had the subs long so I didnt mind waiting for the smd. (since its supposed to come out any time) Then I was just stupid but whatever, I like to learn the hard way sometimes.

So theres a 5500 Watt amp to it, but but fuck you anyways you over powered it and were not covering it. Silly warrantees.. Square trade covers more tho so wish me luck.. and a price refund if they cant replace it..

Yeah, thanks man. Plus if that fails theres more retailers around, plus I got an online squaretrade warranty for 3 years Then if all fails ill do the damn thing myself.. Now i really REALLY want this smd disortion device to come out.. lol. The multimeter approach seems kind of confusing.. Plus my radio has so many damn settings, I wouldnt know exactly what to do.. weird how all that works.

Heh.. well luckily theres an authorized dealer in flint at best buy.. (oh boy) That will honor the warrantee. Only the next city over Hopefully all goes well, they replace and actually fix them for free.. and im back in business.

This. I got a 95 and theyre all 5x7's my buddy has a 2000 and his are also 5x7's. Reguardless if they're 6x8's, my speakers are able to fit 6x8 or 5x7.

Made that box a while ago, and I just got a nice design for the new one here on these forums lol. Even ran around checked fuses, wires. nothing. then I kind of noticed the smell heh.. and well.. you see. Heres the vid leading up to it.. Never had a problem the amp light was on but no bass all of a sudden lol. And that 3rd switch is for my subs amp so I shouldnt of bothered checking the fuses as it never shut off. I just put the switches in and turned my bass up. A. Maybe the switch for the sub amp was a bad idea (it gets really hot) B. Maybe I shouldnt of turned the bass up, had no problems till today. And I wasnt even playing it loud at all.. ;( Btw my camera sucks camel dicks. My phone even picks up sound better.
