I thought it was a decent idea, I'm gonna just stop my noob self now
-
not an accidental post, accidental like. FmlBfd on what you are using I'm not sure how you accidentally create a post
-
n8ball, I didn't realize I had clicked the like button..
Jeez I feel like the biggest noob/idiot
-
I've done plenty of looking things up. This was more to help other people. I did say I was on my cellphone, no?
-
That was an accident, I'm on my (dumb) phone... I guess no sticky... Fml, I was legitimately doing research
-
I'm doing some research and wouldlike to help others out also, so if everyone could post upspecs of their system (subs, amps, components, etc.) how loud it is (measured in dbs) and how it sounds for different sorts of music, it would be greatly appreciated. Maybe we can even make this official and a sticky

How experienced are you at doing heavy line work? (engine swaps, turbocharging, transmission swaps, etc.)

A HUGE thanks to Second Skin for this giveaway. Not many vendors are willing to give their product away for free, especially top quality stuff like the CDL that Second Skin offers.
-
Damplifier Pro is on it's way. I'm going to have fun with this! =)
-
Thank you so much everyone! The Jeep is going to love it!
-
I agree with the terms of the giveaway, and agree to participate. I will be installing this in my 2010 Jeep Patriot, probably when it finally warms up, and I wish everyone good luck. OLDSKOOL78302, I love your avatar. Rockford all the way!
-
Still available? I'll order it now
-
Out of curiosity, and I know it'll perform really well, how does the CDL do for 100% coverage?
Even better, but it becomes a situations of is it really worth it?
As for testing specific other products (such as Alpha Damp) and publishing that data, I don't think I will be able to do that while working for one of these companies.
I'm all for someone else putting forth the effort to do this independently so I'm not the only one getting all of the flak.
baaudio, the Peal and Seal product that I was requested to use in this test just happen to come as a 2" strip product. The results would be very close, if not exactly the same if it came on a 3' wide roll.
I think for some builds it IS worth it. I know for me I would like much better rattle prevention. It might be worth it for me.

I have a blue point set of strippers, and they work fine for almost everything. For large wires, I'm just very very careful with a razor blade.

I'm having the same problem with looking for aftermarket parts. I even had contacted DC power alternators, and they never got back to me. I have a '10 Jeep Patriot. Same engine/alternator as the 2007 Compass
-
What color are we talking about? I have a Patriot, and have access to the Mopar paint codes.
-
I'm still poking ass on buying one of these.. Lol. I'll buy it soon. Probably when they're all stocked up.

Sweet, I didn't think there was another neon owner here. I have a coupe, no offense but I hate 4 doors. Looks like you've done some good stuff, can't wait to see more!
