I'm not surprised you get coils hot using a -10db tracl. You're leaving a FUCK TON of head room to send you amp into clipping. Set your amp with at 0db track and you should see an improvement. It won't get as loud at the same volume level but at least you know for 100% sure that you can't reach clipping even on a 0db tone.

Yes, 31hz is correct. Double check your SSF setting and see if it isn't set too high.

Now back to the toothpaste. After finding that I decided to sift through all the peanuts to see if there were more goodies in there. (Other than the Ring terminals Nine8SST threw in.) I found about a dozen Hershey's Kisses, 3 wire nuts, a corkscrew, a triple A battery and the toothpaste. I assume he felt bad about giving me the leftover holiday candy and decided to throw in the toothpaste. But anyway, I laughed the whole time I was opening it.
