Hey 7k is alot of trial and error. like i can build the box and stuff i just dont really wonna take apart my brand new car and mess somthing up. If you mess it up fix it. You get better at stuff by doing, maybe don't drop 7 grand on yur first install in this car, work your way up.

I'm not very experienced with systems, thats why i'm not going out and blowing thousands of dollars on it. Learn your way around a sub and amp, and most importantly an enlosure, it doesn't matter how many watts you have, if its in a shitty box its gonna sound like shit.

Is 15 too dark? Do you guys have trouble seeing out at night?

Having a bigger battery wont mess up my alternator will it? And the d1200 says it will handle 1500 watts as a main battery for the car, is it cheaper?

i just want to replace my stock battery and power it with stock alternator. I'm going to be running a 1000 watt amp. What do u guys recommend

what are spl tiles? Different brand oh i got you, would u recommend putting more than 1 layer on, or maybe atleast an extra layer in the trunk?

Those things are pretty well molded to the car with specific bolt and clip points. You shouldnt have a problem. They only go in one way. Keep a bag with all the bolts and clips so you don't lose them. Well i'm not so concerned about the carpet as I am about the roof lining. Have you ever seen the older cars where peoples roof lining is sagging in the middle? I just don't want that to happen to me

I'm looking into getting some rims. I drive a 2000 Solara and want to put 20's on it. I really have no idea where to go or what brands to look for. Any suggestions?

I want to put damplifier pro in my car. I want to take off all the interior including the carpet on the floor and the roof lining. I'm concerned that if i do this that my carpet and roof lining won't go back in the same way it was before. Can i get some help?

the rockford mono p300 is a sick amp, that will push yur alpine hard. its a very underrated and a really cheap amp. You can get it for 150 maybe a little under. Look at onlinecarstereo.com

in my opinion, i think it would look cooler if you didn't put a top on it. With a top on it, your hiding your design. It seems like your doing it for looks so maybe try it without a top and throw a neon light on the back piece of wood. I don't know if you would like that or not, just an idea

would that set up hit hard? i used to have a 15 inch audiobahn 1000 watts rms, running 900 to it, i plan on running the rms to the dc's and heard they are high spl subs, but there 8's....would there be a comparison there? Not sure which Audiobahn sub you were running but those 8's should likely kick it's ass if done properly....yes....they will "hit hard" lol With the right box and power....i suggest tuning between 34-36hz on those....here's a vid of my wife's DC 8's on a Rockford 1000BD...... haha how, i just watched that video on youtube a couple hours ago, thats kind of what gave me the idea to get them. But i was kind of wanting to run them with a sealed box. How big of a difference would that make?
