So, are they charging you? If yes, then the only real advice anyone can give is seek legal representation. If you cant afford a lawyer ask the courts to appoint you someone. You never know, the states attourney could quickly try to turn this into something much worse than what it really is, and without representation you could get walked all over.
I know in some states they make you go to court to receive certain citations, but in FL if we get a letter with a court date thats called a notice to appear and that means you're about to catch a charge... Good luck man
You should be good, if they didn't arrest you on site than chances are if they charge you it will be a misdemenor since they normally don't hand out notices to appear for felonies (atleast here) Since you are a minor I assume your parent(s) will be present??
