  1. Wouldn't that be an MDF cut and not a paper cut? LOL, jk The shop floor where I work, works with MDF at work on a daily basis. I mean we use litereally TONS and TONS of it and I've NEVER once heard of someone getting cut on it. Now, if it is laminated with formica or another form of laminate, then yes the stuff is sharp. I guess its just your delicate hands! LOL So what are you building? Here's a shot of our warehouse!
  2. Lancaster is about 2 hours from me. I'm more towards Cincinnati and Dayton. Not too far though!
  3. Yep, I was going to say B-Shoc. He's got a lot of good stuff.
  4. Here's what I ended up going with. It will tighten just fine, definitely an upgrade from the stock terminals and it has two places to bolt connectors to so it should work great. Less than $4 each at Autozone.
  5. I stopped at Autozone and picked up some brass terminals for a few bucks. I'll post pictures, but I think they'll work great.
  6. Its the stock Ram battery in my truck, for now. I'm just getting started on my install and started to run the wiring today. I'll definitely upgrade, but that's what I'm working with right now.
  7. I just tried to see if the positive would tighten down and it won't either. The ones I bought are junk. I'll come up with something and post the results. I don't need buss bars; a little overkill for hooking 3 wires to the negative and 2 to the positive.
  8. What about some marine terminals, like from Walmart? Of course take the wing nut off and use nuts.
  9. I'm thinking about some of these. They have (2) 8 gauge and I can use connectors on the 0 gauge and attach it to the bolt. They also look like they would tighten down better. Thoughts?
  10. Which battery terminals are you guys running? I bought 2 of these and they do not tighten down on my battery like they should, even with the spacer ring in place. I only did my negative and its slightly snug, but nowhere near tight like I want it to be. I can't find anything out there that will work with the big 3 upgrade. I need the terminals to accept at least (1) 0 gauge (1) 2 gauge and (2) 8 gauge. These ones I bought are good there, but the fact that they won't tighten down makes them useless to me.
  11. I've had a Vizio for three or four years now and LOVE it! We got it from Costco.
  12. I shot Rusty a PM. I'm open for suggestions. The JLs I wanted are the W3. I already have the amp. I'm running a JL Audio J2 1000.1 amp which is rated at 1000X1 RMS @ 1 ohm. So I need subs that will work well at that power range. I'm not opposed to buying another 1000.1 amp if need be in the future, but for now that's what I have. So whats up with SA? I've never heard of them either. I'm old school I guess. I know about JL, Kicker, Rockford, Memphis, Audibahn, Orion and so on.... LOL
  13. I've been out of the audio scene for about 10 years now and back then everyone wanted JL. I'm just trying to figure out what's good nowadays within a reasonable price. Hands down, the DC subs look like a better built sub than the JL, but I wanted to see what everyone else says. I'll get some quotes from the people you guys recommended.
  14. So I've been reading up and although I've been set on getting a pair of 12" JL Audio W3V3 I think I may be leaning more toward a set of DC 12s. I'm liking the level 3s, but I can't seem to find prices or a place to buy them anywhere. I also like the little air space required in a sealed box that they require since my truck is going to be limited. I'd like to compare their prices to JL. What would you go with? JL or DC?
  15. That's what I was thinking. You can literally spend $6 on set to $50 on a set from Darvex. I'm about to get these Stingers on order... http://www.darvex.com/store/pc/Stinger-Pro-1-Series-12-RCA-Interconnects-118p545.htm
  16. Thanks a lot for the compliments guys! Obviously I put a lot of thought, time and effort into my rides. I'll definitely start a build thread when I start installing the system in the Ram... Anyone local, I don't mind to help out. And yes, I do suspensions. I used to run a suspension shop and I specialized in air ride and hydraulic suspensions.
  17. Torres, you're in KY and I can do it! Let me know if you'd like me to take a look at it!
  18. Yea, it was an SC1. I bought it brand new when I was 18. It was fun... LOL Ohio weather sucks, nuff said there!
  19. Thanks, its the first lifted vehicle I've ever built. Its fun, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss laying rails.
