took everything out to sound deaden MY NEW WING!!!! LOL jk took the top off trunk off to access it easier peel n seal... i know their are alot of haters... but worked really well.... ! starting putting it on the lid of the trunk all finished..... sorry i didnt get any pictured of the rest of the trunk yet, it waas too dark i will try totake some tomorow two rolls of peel n seal is definatly not enough for whole trunk, but plenty to get the lid and anywhere else that rattles down This is my first time everdoing sound deadening so no hating!! lol

and one more thing...... should i even turn the bass boost up on the amp =/ i usually see people never do it =/

so where would maybe a safeish place be for the gain? my rfriend who has a 9512 DD says all you have to do is put the gain up until it starts to smell, he said you could clip a DD all day long and not have problems since their soo strong, but idk

i can git it set tomorow.. i just wanna bump a bit today, and this is a second battery in back, the D3400

im running a 9515 DD on an AQ 2200 with a 90 A stock alt and big three, anyone know kinda wherish the gain should be set at? so i can hook up today =)

il try tomorow man, the werid thing is..if the reading was correct at 10.5 v with old alt... when i took the pos off shuldnt it run sluggish? or shut off at that type of voltage?, because when i did it with old alt it ran.. FINE, so maybe just .. idk what you call it.. the cheap battery tester the shit out on me.. read wrong?

thats mostly correct.. the 10.5 is what it was running at before alt change, but its around that with the load, but im not shure if that shit was correct.. when i put the load on the tool started smoking and stopped working for a bit

=/ the only pic i have is on my 97 dodge intrepid build, but its not fully done thier, i dont no how i culd do wrong =/...i did power to alt .. put a 200A fuse on it.... put neg to chasi... sanded smooth till it was pure metal,... did a ground from engine block to chasi... same thing sanded smooth till pure metal

What type of battery are you running and did you charge it with a "plug in the wall" battery charger while you replaced the alternator? that...is one thing i did...NOT...do =/.. lol... and its a shitty exide.. hate em, but ima have a XS D3400 in back in 2-3 days most likly..gotta wait for it to ship here =/

12v... so idk if it was just the shitty 10$ 10 year old thing i waas using, cuz on and off is 12v, ill check with DMM, but how come the cd player does that shit?! i cant figure out.. checked all wires and everything possible =/

k i had sum shit thing that started smoking when i clicked the load button, but our DMM just got rebuilt now so i will check it tomrow, and yes i had a problem before, cuz i checked it .." with the shitty 10 tester", and it was at 10.5v.... i had 2 12" kickers hooked up before on my pioneer... never ever had a problem.... changed cd player to jvc right away when i turned up when the bass hit on my speakers..lol... it wuld short, or "clip" out, so i checked voltage with shitty thing it said 10.5.. i changed alternato.. 12v...il check with our new snap on DMM tomorow, but the cd player thing seemes like a vol;tage drop since when i turned the music up, on my speakers it would kinda shit out, but never ever hada problem before so idk if its just cd player

i havent installed my stuff yet, actually i have everything ready, i dont have my amp n sub hooked up... all i have hooked up thats actualy touching battery is big 3, well i havent checked it since a week ago, when i put it in. i only checked it once after 10 min of charging it was at 12v =/ and im going to have my sub hooked up in like 2 -3 days =/ any help please?

yes =/... idk my boss said its 12v system, but i always thought vehicles ran 14, idk im newish to the electrical system parts of cars ahha

i currently replaced my alternator, with a new"ish" stock alterntaor, because my system... without anything hooked up.. was running at 10.5 running... i switch the alternato, and let charge and its at 12v now so is my electrical a 12v system and i shuldnt worry about this? i have a 97 dodge intrepid

i didnt know what catagory this would fall in so no hatin'! lol. ok. my box is tuned down to 30 hz, and i have never heard anyone loud system before other than avergae kickers, i live in a small town =P, so usually you can barely hear the lows on "average" systems, because they have prefabed boxes. Would my box make the lows louder than highs? that would be sick lol. Thanks .. sorry for stupid noob post ROFLMFAO
