On the picture that the one guy has of the second battery in the rear, he has a negative wire coming from the front battery to the back battery, then it splits off and the negative wire goes to the chasi, and another one goes to the amp. My question is, what does the negative going to the amp do, and where does it go in? Do you hook it up in the ground, and its a ground or what?!?! please help haha

  4. Would it be louder in the car and sound better if i turned my sub to face towards the front of the car, or would i tno make a difference, i have it facing away from me, in the trunk. I'm just curiouse

  10. kk, what is one of the good brands that would be a little bit cheape for me? the problem is im not shure howm uch longer I will have this car, so I didnt really want to spend the money on an alt if i might not have it for long, but who nows, maybe i will have it for a long time.

I have the big 3 done, and a stock alt, but Before I hook my system up I would like to know if this amp will support my system?
  12. does any one out their have an H / O alt that will fit a 97' Dodge Intrepid??? IKind of need one but its not in my budget to buy a brand new one, so if someone can help me out i would be verry happy!!!

  16. I have 97' Dodge Intepid im runnin 500 rms through it and at full tilt just maybe the lights on my cd player dims just a biut almost iunoticable when it hits.
  17. kk i have a question for you so please tell me an answer haha!! What would be a betetr amp then an AQ 2200 or an AQ 3500, i know AQ 3500 would be nice but if i cant get a new alternator im not shure which amp. Ip osted athread and people said save up for 3500 so i did. But would the 2200 be better for my situation?
  18. I have been thinking, but im not going to be having this vehicle for all that long thats what im worried about, also it has alot of miles on it! If they had universal If they had universal H/O alts i would definatly get one, but at the moment all i can find is ones for my model

  20. yess i do know enough haha, it will be with 2 extra optima yellow top batteries, i will tune the amp with an osciloscope, and not turn it up where i think im pushing it to much, trust me, i baby my stuff haha!
