So like I expected another maintenance issues broken axle but it was the shops fault so it was free. Anyway got the 12" MTX thunder 5500 in its new box and these rims going on this weekend and next week getting my coilovers maybe a front lip and dropping in somewhere around 2.5-3.5 inches

my amp is 1 ohm 2 ohm 4 ohm stable. it would seem to me like this would be just like wiring 3 svc subs together since all the coils are the same ohm? seems like theres alot of bad things in the car audio world haha everything must be precise and correct and both subs handle the same amount of power and require the same box specs from what i see online

They are the same exact sub model and everything one is just dual 4 and one is single 4 Why would this be bad just not an even distribution of power between coils?

I have 2 12" Mtx thunder 5500's 12" one is dual voice coil and one is single I want to trade for the same sub but another dvc or svc pm me These are brand new in the box never been powered

well like i said slow build. had to postpone the ordering of my 15s because i took my car to the shop today because i was getting a grinding noise from my drivers side and my mass airflow sensor shorted out. turns out i need a new wheel bearing 380$ and new airflow sensor 240$ so i had to drop 620$ today that i barely had in the first place im really regretting buying this car. and i sold my 10s so i will be building a box for my buddys 12" Mtx 4500s which will be in my car till im finished with the 15"s feeling like theres gonna be another maintenance issue comin up soon :(

im gonna have 7.5ft^3 after displacement i measured it out and it lines up perfectly so i can build the box right between the wheel wells oh and heres a little vid of what these 2 10"s are doin

so little update i fixed the box for the subs and i found out that this guy really fucked up the wiring and my headunit has no right sound sound at all idk why tried everything i can the right channels wont put out sound to the speakers :/ so goin with my original plan of amplifying my mids and highs. anyway a few new pics of this slow build. Selling off these 2 tens and ordering 2 FI X 15"s this weekend when i get paid. flipped the box around seems louder and mounted the metal bar to stop it from sliding around back there oh and i have no fucking idea what this guy was trying to do in the rear speakers im kinda confused as to what he thought he was gonna ccomplish Not sure if you can see i cut out a ring that i glued and sealed to the inside to fix my mounting problem for my sub. they sound alot better now! this box has been through hell and still kicking strong

if you look under net volume it will come out to 7.6ft^3 after displacements. Also if anyone has any input on that last design i posted of a sort of mini wall thing id like to have some input on if it would sound any good firing out of a trunk if its sealed off

Looks nice Steve really nice the only thing is raidmax powersupplies are awfuller everytime I have used one I have had multiple problems

yeah with the port common walls it will drop you a few in overall ^3ft and some other things in my box i have just over the recommended air space for each sub so i can lose a little bit to drop my tuning where i want
