so anyone that is actually payin attention to this build i thought id give a little update since i finally got to my buddies house to check things out. Well it turns out the Solo L7 was a 10 and it has nasty coil rub. so we said the hell with that and decided to just do the MTX's in a box. We went through all the shit his brother gave him which he neglected to actually look at and he found a damn near brand new Hifonix Brutus 1200w BX1205. 2 Head units. a pair of door speakers a crossover and a pair of Kicker CVR 10's this dude has the randomist shit just falling outta his garage. Anyway i was lookin for some advice i was thinkin about doin the box with the subs face the trunk and port through the armrest So ideas and advice would be greatly appreciated

yeah i plan on puttin 4 fans per amp blowin out the two fans blowin out the port thing

so ive been playin around on google sketchup alot designing my friends build and my upcoming build i was wondering on opinions on this amp rack. Note that the amps in here were pre mades i will not be running fosgates. I will have 1 Fusion FJL-1211D mono block amp and 2 American pro 400 and 800 watts. Under the plexi glass ill be puttin blue LED's to make it POP Well here it iss IDK why the pic on the left came out so shitty but its the inside on the front the slot will act as a port for the fans to blow hot air out. Opinions? Ideas on improvement this will be part of my first build. So criticism is welcome oh and the bottom and side wont be cut out like that to view the inside i just deleted a corner line and it did that :/

its better if you clip the bottom pour the powder in a ziploc bag put the corner in the top of a 2 liter screw the cap on over the bag drill a hole in the lid insert fuse and stand back. gotta use 2 or more for a big bang tho. but this is fun if you arent tryin to mess around alot

Is there anyone in Las Vegas that does tattoos that might possibly be looking for an apprentice? ive always been into tattoo's and im a pretty good artist so i wanna start finding someone to apprentice under so i can learn alot. If you have an artist you get your work done at that you think would be good to talk to about an apprenticeship let me know if anyone wants to see some of my art just pm me.

yeah id go with the 18's in my opinion for a couple reasons. 1 i really dont trust used gear unless its from someone you know personally pretty well. 2 i just like BIG subs

he doesnt plan on entering comps or anything he just has these subs and wants something that will bump so he asked if i would build boxs

well i told my buddy about how this wouldnt be the greatest idea but he doesnt seem to care. so we are goin ahead with the build i mean hey its his car he gets to do what he wants. I do plan on running the L7 on a seperate amp and i am gonna seal the angled boxes after seeing that a port just wont work easily. we are startin the build sometime this week when his car comes back from the shop he had a new tranny put in.

Ok So my buddy just got his car and he has all these car audio parts around from his brothers build that he wants to put something together. he has an L7 in a box that he really does not want to get rid of so i will be building around this box for the 2 MTX 12's. All these boxes will be ported. Im thinkin of a 3 piece box design like this. If anyone has any tips or Suggestions let me know. Image Hosting as you can see the Black box is what i will be building around and i thought about doin two wedge boxes facin eachother and screwing them into the box for the L7. How doese this idea sound to you guys? AND if this is the plan we go with shoould i make the subs face through the rear seat or the trunk. me being a 17 year old in woodshop with nothing to do and 2 old tens that needed to be in something this is what came out. i kinda just measured what looked good and did it so these ports are not tuned to anything they are what they are haha some parts didnt line up and are croked cause some dumbass in another period thought he'd "Help me out" anyways yeah all made outta 3/4 MDF
