DC voltage? whats that? Where do i get a Multimeter and what accessories do i need to get for it to use it to check ohm load?

They are wired in some way.. i dunno i looked at a picture from sonic electronix. Dual 2 ohm. Final load should be 2ohm nothing changed on the wireing of the sub from 3 days ago when it worked perfectly fine. The only things that changed were.... Bought used 0 gauge from someone on this forum, to make longer runs. changed my battery grounds to 0 gauge and i carpeted the box.

I dont have a DMM. Yes gally i did check the gains they are at 4ish right now.. it sounds like i have a single 10. Socal, i just started from square one today and did everything all over but better this time. Same problem.

Ok once again ive exhaused all ideas that people have thrown at me... this is a fucking nightmare right now. I checked RCA's and where they go. I re did the grounds and sanded the spot down with an electric sander. The subs are not out of phase. I'm so confused on what to do...

Ok none of these worked.. gay sauce. Im going to replace the 4 gauge from alt to battery to 0 gauge. see if that causes the problem? Also i took the whole car apart and check all wires/re routed all wires to safer area's where there is no chance of being pinched. Will get back to forum later. Superchaged AMD yes i unhooked the battery, but no i didnt lose the Head unit settings.

Read the truck manual.. I'm sure you can reset the code. Everything else i don't understand it isn't complete sentences and its confusing to me.

Something is still broken.. i re did the ground location, re did a terminal that was soldered. and a bunch of other crap.. im out of ideas someone please help lol. Do you think the sub is blown? Its not out of phase i tested it with a D battery and they both went up.

Day 2 more problems arriving. Ok same problem as yesterday still the subwoofer burps when i turn it off.. but that is the least of my problems right now. My subs are really REALLY quite and not producing the bass they were before i made the changes. Changes consist of.... -new positive and negative wire from 2nd battery to amps -Replaced 4 gauge battery grounds with 0 gauge battery grounds. -Carpeted the box. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PKGLnQ3h0yE

Ok called ASPEN SOUND today local car audio shop and they said that it is because the HU is shutting off before the amplifier does which caused the burp. The burp is harmless but annoying, so he told me to leave it or it has something to do with the remote wire. So... ima go mess with the remote wire and see if i can fix it

It is ground to where the suspension comes into the engine area.. so im sure that is part of the chassis. there is 1/0 running from front to back both positive and negative. I don't think it would be the RCA because i took it out of the amp and it still does the burp when i turn off car. Is the back battery grounded to the chassis at all? I grounded it to the pillar in between front and back door. Sanded it down and everything. It worked fine when it was 4 gauge there, don't know why it would change now. if your battery is connected to the front there's no reason to ground it to the body as well. you're probably creating some sort of loop and that;s probably causing the problem. I thought you were suppose to ground both batteries? I'm pretty sure on this one actually. Anyone else know if that is true?

Also i forgot to add that everything seems quieter since i carpeted the box and changed the grounding to 0 gauge.. does this in any way towards the problem?

sorry man i tried . thats all ive had experience with. hope your problem gets resolved Hope so too.. i don't know why it just started. If i have all 0 gauge wire and then my big 3 is still 4 gauge would that cause a pop? i wouldnt think so.. but who knows im new lol.

Shit i do have a pioneer.. so i need to strip the RCA's and wrap them around the according rca whole? This could go horribly wrong.. whoa dont srip the rcas strip some random speaker wire and do this then plug in the rcas and if it did it with the rcas out it might not be the problem but try this anyways Lol yeah i opened up deck and was like.. i dont think i saw the picture right. OK... gotta find myself some speaker wire thanks.. will let you know how it turns out in a couple of hours. Ok this didnt work for me.. still pops when i turn everything off. Secured the ground better so it doesnt wiggle now. Also unplugged subwoofer RCA's and it still did the pop w/o them plugged in.. So you thinking its a blown fuse in the deck now?

Could be, but it has been in this location for 3 years w/o any problems.. only thing that changed was i use 0 gauge now instead of 4 gauge.
