  1. Ok, i put the speaker wire and RCA"s into the amp.. then while it was playing i took out the RCA's and nothing happened. So im guessing its still playing threw the HU. lol... Time to cut some wires and see if i get it right.
  2. Yeah that is what i thought.. but the part where the head unit wire is connected to the speakers, i cut there, but then do i connect the head unit wires to the other head unit wires that are not connected to anything. The grey and white ones.
  3. Yeah but, if those speaker wires were previously hooked to play off the Head unit.. would i have to change anything that is on the wires behind the head unit? So that they play off the amplifier only, not the headunit. un hook them tape them off so nothing grounds out Ok, so in picture 1, You see the purple and teal cords, how they are not hooked to anything but hooked in the harness.. and the grey/grey striped +white/white sriped are hooked to speaker wires and not hooked in the harness. Don't i have to make them all the same? Fuck i make things confusing dont i? I will just plug in rca' and speaker wire to amp and not mess with HU see if that makes a difference?

  6. So if it was hooked to the deck i dont have to play with it to change it any? just need the RCA's/speaker wire? Cus they said they left the RCA and speaker wire back there for when ever i got a 4 channel.
  7. Err it looks like i should take the cut the grey/grey stripe from the speaker wire, then connect the grey /grey stripe to grey /grey stripe that goes into the deck. ???
  8. Ok, I originally had a 2 channel amp now i have a 4 channel. So my back speakers are hooked up to the HU. The purple and green wires are not cringed to the harness. But the grey and grey stripe one are. To hook the speakers up to the Amplifer would i take the grey/stripe one off the harness? lol...
  9. Please put up a place to pre order these.. so you can make enough I don't want to be waiting on one for 6 months lol well once i get my webstore up and running, i will have them available there with a 3-4 week initial turn around time. This will help us come up with the funds for our initial big order. Once we get rolling, and we have them in stock, it will be a matter of a day or two from the time you order till the time it gets shipped. Once the first beta units get into everyones hands and we see its a success, the webstore will open and everyone can place an order. I believe a few shops and a few distributors may pick them up too so if your local to that shop, you can see it before you buy it. I think Ray wants to carry them so if you are in the Fresno area, stop by Audio Innovations and ask for a demo of the product! thanks again for your continued interest, we are TRULY blown away by it! I can't wait. Then i can change my sig to "I mess up 95% of the time instead of 98%. Excited! It would be cool if some local stores carried them, but they will probably try to charge me alot more then what the site will be selling them for. nahhh we will cut them a deal if they order enough of them from us this way the price is the same whether its from them or from me. Im not looking to have dealer agreements and a bunch of rules but the base price should be around the same no matter who you get it from. Right on man, good lookin out. Just need to figure out my T2500 situation and i will be good to go /facepalm.

  12. Is this one of those tricks to make us think you were talking about Obama? fail.. very fail...
  13. $900 mistake.. and the bad part is. if i get a new amp.. i will most likely still have the same fucking burp problem and lack of sound problem.
  14. Is this blow up fixable or is it fucking toast now? I should of never got into car audio.. i dont know fucking shit about antyhing. i hate being so worthless.
  15. Ok voltage going to amp while playing is 14.7 constantly. so thats good I just set the meter to V- 200m and its at 0.00 right now on AUX channel with no volume up so i think that is what i was suspose to do. Also the DMM is on the DC side and negative in same spot. I hope im doing this right. So with that said.. what now power wire check? No I meant check the voltage on the + and - going to your sub. Should be pretty close to 0.00 (may have .02 or .04 volts and be ok) If it's way off like 2 or 4 volts check the amp. also plug in a iPod or somethign directly to the amp with a 3.5mm to RCA cable. See if you're getting the same bad signal. It's completely possible you crushed your RCAs and grounded them out when you replaced the power cable. To late.. i just plugged the DMM into my amp again but with red in the V(ohm)mA slot.. and my amp popped about 5 times and now there is alot of smoke coming out of it. So yeah amp is bad now.. it was good. fuck my fucking life. FUCKKKKKKKK

  17. How do i use my DMM to check volts going into amp? and also output of amp when there is no music? I just got the DMM so i dont know how to use it lol.
  18. Its Knu wire. Also have Monster 400 series in there.. which is such a pain in the ass because it doesnt flex at all.. The Knu wire i bought from someone on this forum, so im wondering if its bad.
  19. x2 and just cus you get the ohm load ya want dont mean its not of phase The battery test works though, when i put it pos/pos neg/neg both subs go upwards.
  20. no the 0 gauge wire is to big to fit in my T1000 so i cant.. unless i hooked up some 0 guage from battery.. hrmm will have to try that too. If that amp works then the problem would either be the T2500 or the power wire. Good stuff, will try tomorrow.
  21. Ok new day still problems. lol. fuck. Anyways i got my DMM and it reads 2.3 ohms load. Which is what it should be so the subs are not out of phase or anything. I unhooked the subs and put a 10 inch piece of crap JL sub in @ 2ohms to see what it would do.. i turned gains all the way off and this is what i got. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ndwAzzBybQ I dunno if that was quite for the 10 or not to be honest.. lol. Any ideas? Ohh yeah also when i turned off the system.. the 10 inch sub burped. so that problem is still there regardless of subs. So possible a amp or deck problem? or power wire?
  22. Will figure out what my true ohm load is tomorrow after i get meter.
  23. Remote wire goes from deck to amp.. there is a splitter in between but thats pretty much it. Goes into remote slot.. not into positive battery wire.
