  1. Well it's finals time too. Id rent some tools if I found the right place
  2. So I just got some AQ HDC3 D2ohm 15's (copper) that were used on a AQ van. Got them for $170 a piece with 25 hours playing time and were evidently broken in with their strict 35hz at 12 hours break in time. My dilema has set in now that I have a 5 cubic foot sealed box for 2 15's and using 1 will be much better than using 2. I am up here at school until I can go home and build another box so I am trying to find a solution to a louder build with these subs. I have a 91 Accord with 2 JL 500/1 amps with 0 guage and 8 guage direct connect leads on the subs. What I am looking for is help with this box, or MAYBE another one, to make it louder. It has 2 cut outs for 15's and is sealed and carpeted. I dont know if I should try to seal the other hole and re-glue it back up or use polyfil, sound detener, etc. So if anyone has some short term suggestions with this box or something else (I have $100 to spend) that I can do with a small amount of tools (I dont have a saw, wood, glue, etc.) to help these subs perform their best. I also dont have a big 3 because my father doesnt want me "tinkering" with the motor. PS- I know I dont have enough amp power for these subs too
  3. Well I was looking for something like this BTL or SA 12. Got anything that will fit my needs? A AQ 2.5 or HD 12, SA 12, etc.
  4. I am looking for a great condition SA12 or a AQ 2.5 12. If anyone has anything in good condition, I am looking to spending no more than $150. PM me if anyone has one. I have a JL 450/4 slash that I could do a partial trade also.
  5. I had 2 of these that were reconed and got them for $40. I would have paid $125 for these a piece, even with a recone. These are great subs!
  6. Unfortunately, thats what I figured has happened to them. I have never had any RE Audio but once I saw they put the plastic cover over the magnets, for some reason I just felt like they had gone cheaper. Idk why but it seems like the older subwoofers that show the motor and magnet show real power
  7. Is there a way to insert a picture on here without posting my picture online? I see the insert picture links on here but it wants a website instead of a file
  8. Well I purchased them off Ebay and the guy should return them without problem. I have a picture of them but can't figure out how to upload them on here without putting them in a online link.
  9. So I bought 2 new RE Audio SRX15 subs and recently have been having problems. I got them about 5 days ago and I had them outside when it was about 80 degrees and saw 2 big bubbles in my subs. I guess its from the heat and the plastic expanding but I have never seen this before. I guess RE Audio is getting a little cheaper but both subs get bubbles in them when they are in the trunk just sitting outside. The bubbles go away once they get cooled down, like when I take them inside. I didnt know if anyone had ever seen this before or has any suggestions. Maybe they will go away once the plastic expands and contracts to the form of the cone or not. I may return them but needed some suggestions of why this is happening and if I should keep them or not. I payed 225 for them both and they are in a sealed box.
