I just adjusted my order after I upgraded my power from 1200rms to 1800, so I added level 4 soft parts. I figured I would get more sound out of this then over powering the 3s to much and under powering the 4s. What advantages did this spur of the moment choice get me? Is this set up going to change the T/S so much that I will need a new box? Is this going to function better in the ported box built to level 3 specs? 3.7 before displacment tuned to the mid 30s. My space is limited so going any larger is a challange, running of a Kicker 06ZX1500.1. 1/0 OFC big 3, yellow top, 1/0 in CCA to the back. I will be changing to 1/0 OFC and adding a small battery before they get here.

And yes they said there would be a wait 4-6 weeks not 2+ months.. If they are as good as said I was even going to get a custom licence plate( I need on anyway ). So I think its fair to ask for some stickers, agree? A hat would be nice but a few stickers would settle my needs

With a clean signal and a spec box what power should I put on 2 level 3 12s.. I have 1700 on tap after a add the XS next week, Ive keep 2 Type Rs(Gen 4s 600RMS rated) alive for a few months now while I've waited and they have handled 1550 daily. I've heard of folks running 800 daily but I wanted to here it from you guys. I know what I'm doing with the volume knob I just want to know if the aluminum coil cools as good as I think it would.

there was a problem with the 3 motors fro chromeing a few weeks ago. I hope it didnt happen again

I would rather not call and bug anybody, does anybody have a update on the level 3s? Also, I'm thinking the DC amps are underrated a bit considering the quality of the products. I'm looking into the 2K but I dont have the proper electrical at this time to run at .5. Does anybody have a valid clamp at 2 ohms. I'm going to be running two level 3 12s in a spec ported box. Now I got my fill in type rs running off a kicker zx1000, I'm hoping to get more out of the 2K but if not I'll stick with the kicker at 1200 rms. I need to find this out before I finish my amp rack if possible.

The Kickers need more power, about 1200 minimum

What I'm starting to think I need to do is add a few hundred watts to get the most out of the DCs. Thats not what I want to do though. Right know my electrical is good, I think I can go 1500 but I dont know.

My type Rs are the latest gen. Box specs 42Wx11Hx20D 3/4 MDF braced tuned to around 35HZ. I havent pin pointed the exact tune yet, it was 36 before the braces

It was made to my measurements and the Level 3s needs.

I know its perfect because its the freaking 4th one I tried.. It gives me the best tuning and most volume out of the space I have. Its solid and braced to take a beating! I forgot to mention it was originally designed for the DCs. The type Rs are fill ins until they arrive
