I am currently running a Prime 150-2 amp to power two 12 inch P1s and it does surprisingly well for the little amount of power being used. It came with a birth sheet with RMS of 181 watts when bridged at 4ohms. The larger amp are capable of running down to 2ohms and most are under rated just like the upper level RF amps. Which one are you looking at using?

Hey, does anyone have any experience with these subs? I just heard a couple of them in a sealed box, approx. 2.5 cubes per, and they surprised the Hell out of me. He wasn't even expecting the sound these things made, I had never heard of them. He came to me to get a ported box made for them(build in 3 weeks)and to get rid of the crap cap he had connected. He has them powered with a JL 1000/1 and they have his poor Burb flexing something serious. I told him before we make the box we would need to dampen the crap out of it. I wish I had a cam, because his roof was flexing a good 2 inches. It was pretty sick for subs I had never heard of. He only wants 1 so, I was thinking about putting 1 in a ported box sealed off from the trunk of my 91 Accord. LOL Any experience with these? Can they really handle 1000wrms? Any info would be of great help. BTW, he paid $50 for the subs and box.

OK, everything I am about to say is coming from personal experience. The first thing you need to is get your money back from that trip. Quickly and quietly look for a new job. (Its a little easier because you are working to get noticed) Find somebody....anybody to move with/room mate with. Get the hell out of there. Reasons why: Once she knows that she has that control over you by threatening to turn your life upside down, SHE WON'T STOP! It will probably lead to either her snapping because you finally put your foot down. Or you snapping because you have been holding all of that frustration in, and you are by yourself. I know it sucks, been there, done that. Most people with this problem get worse and more controlling because they feel they can. I know you love her, its why you are still there but, it can only take you so far. Women get jealous. Thats a fact but, it sounds like she acts that way because she has a problem with herself.....not you.....not the women you speak to. She will not be right until she realizes that fact. I was in a relationship for a long time and things got progressively worse, until she got violent. She might not be at that level yet but if you stay in that situation she will. She has got you by the balls and now you have to suck it up and protect yourself. You are still young, find yourself a young, sane girl and have fun. Just my .02.

How much port are you giving those and what subs are those. I can't really tell in the pic?

That is really big. I see you had to take the backseat completely out. Was it tough to get it out, because my next box will be about 4.5 and I just don't see it going through the trunk.
