i finally had some ideas about where to put the battery bank so i put my self to work lol.... decided to make up some buss bars not finished making them yet. ran out of time for the day but i will continue on them tomorrow now i just need to figure out how to make an amp rack somewhere back there lol

I bought the amps from a teamate who is also a member on here (kryptonite). I am pretty sure he bought them from here though too lol. These amps are def BEASTS!! Cant wait for them to be repaired and im even debating selling one of them if the price is right lol

I actually added some bracing after I took those pics lol I just was impatient and wanted to see if it fit the way I planned for it to fit. Since I recently and stupidly cooked my amplifiers :-( I decided it was rebuild time :-) equipment is as follows: 2 dc pai 3000.1 amplifiers( out for repair lol) 1 dc pai 120.4 amplifier 2 dc 12" XL's or level 4's ( havent decided but def ordering very soon).......

Thanks guys.......dont matter now cuz both amps are fried :-( (not related to the remote gain knob either lol) not sure what did it yet but both the power supply on both amps are smoked unfortunately. But on the bright side I guess I can rebuild now.

Amps...... DC pai 3000.1 (x2) Subs....... (2) 15" fi btl's (fully loaded) Was running amps strapped @ 2ohm and now I wanna run them seperately ( 1 to each woofer ) Can I still use only one knob safely if I use some sort of phone cable splitter??

There are still cruise nights on wednesdays. One in N. Tonawanda and one in Lancaster still

no need to relocate the stock electrical. Just add your 1/0 on top of the existing stock electrical making sure you have nice clean grounds of course lol. Also IMO I would replace your battery up front with the biggest AGM battery you can fit . You dont wanna mix different battery types together.

No. get same color temperature as low beams. I wouldnt even get hids for high beams IMO. Stick with 5000k if you want them as bright as possible. The higher you go up on the color scale the less light output (lumens) you see.

Charged that battery overnight w/ my intellicharger and took off charger. After a half hour off the charger it went from 13.28v down to 12.54v and seems to be slowly dropping .1v every few minutes. What do you think? Is this batt good or should I not even install today as planned??

Ok. I def will let you know. How long should i wait after i disconnect the charger to check it?
