On my Titan I used square tubing, bolt down to the original seat mounts on the floor, then put the mount from the seat on top. On the back where the back latches I took some flat plate and made an adapter to move that latch up enough that it latched like stock. Super easy.

I tried the 15 in my ranger
My stock alt cant hang with 2k clamped, amps were goin low voltage.did mid 48 but was shutting off so i put the 8's back In for now
Not bad at all, what sub where you using? I've been tossing around the idea of selling my Singer 265A since he has a 340A unit out now, but can't really swing it at the moment... Not to mention mine is down needing a starter, and my rear window seal is shot and the box got SOAKED during the bad storms we got last week. Probably fixing to sell my amp and upgrade power wise, rebuild the box, and finally do my front stage.
What's your average with the 4 8's?

Very nice! When are you doing the single 15" in your Ranger?
-
That setup is long gone. He had a build log goin for 20 18s in that truck but Idk if he went through with it.2000lade who used to be on here did like 32 18s i think or something stupid like that
Did he even ever finish that build? Last I heard he bitched out.
I think he has 48 sa 10s right now
he has a shell built right now, don't know what's going in it..
He was saying 24 18's in his truck last I heard? Got sidetracked with his Civic though.
-
Very nice, can't wait to try mine out.
-
I wonder if it still exists somewhere
Last I heard it was stashed off in a barn somewhere, but that was several years ago.
-
I saw these pictures on Mike's facebook like 2 weeks ago slacker! Get it bolted on.
-
When you update this you can now add the CC-1 with mine as well.

http://reaudio.com/box.php click the link and put your deminsions in. play around with tuning. i wouldn't tune so high personally thought. maybe 35hz at most
RE's calculator isn't exactly accurate. Doesn't figure for common port walls, and there was something else I can't remember right off.
-
I think he's wanting the t/s parameters from what I gathered on the first sentence. Rob knows his stuff, by no means new to designing.
-
Also what happened where the port L comes together? Looks like a pretty big difference in height.
Otherwise, do like CJ said and add a 45* in the port bend. Box looks good, not bad at all for your first kerf!

I clamped 290 watts out of one of the Boss Chaos 1250's. A buddy of mine bought it, took it back the same day.

Incase you missed the model
L D 1
Line Driver? Shit, it's too late for me to be trying to think. LOL
LOL @ the dancing nanner sneaking into the pic.

They are dealing through reps now. Go to the SPL Labs USA website then go to the forums and they have the states and reps listed there.
Haven't seen many pop up for sale used, a rep might know of someone willing to part with one though.

You just missed the group buy on CACO. GREAT meters, I love my USB meter. Consistently .1-.15 within the local shops TL.
-
A 50 is a great number.
Mines not loud sealed up.
Its a headrest monster.
Mine actually is ALOT closer than I expected between sealed and open, my Titan was a completely different machine once you opened the door. I'm actually about the same with the door open in the headrest or glass, and just a touch louder in the kick (.1-.3)
-
Cool beans.
I was honest to God shocked, wasn't expecting it. Not complaining though, interested to see how bad you embarrass me when you go to a single 15 though.
I keep kicking around the idea of doing 2 in a wall on some sort of 5k, if I ever pull the trigger on it I'd definitely like your input on a design.
-
Sealed on the glass?? At what freq?
Upper 41, lower 42 according to the software. Was supposed to be 45hz according to the cd. Stays fairly close from 39-50ish but 41 and 42 where the frequencies it broke 50 on sealed.
-
I curious to see what yours meters.
That will help me decide what to do next.
And that was my console on a "clean" day. Haha
I posted a video on my build thread, it was a fluke run though. Think it was a 52.something on the glass door open, most of the rest that way where upper 51's. Managed 2 50.somethings sealed after letting everything cool and charging the batteries. Average sealed a was 49.7-49.9. All on an SPL Labs meter we checked out to be .10-.15 higher than the local shops TL.

Lol my console always stays full of crap, everytime I try to clean it out it ends up looking the same in a week. I've got to find me a solid back window, but have had 0 luck in my junkyard search, my rear sliding window has gotten to where it just flops around and rattles even just driving down the road now. Drives me insane.
Those 8's definitely get down! Wish you weren't so far away, I'd love to hear it.
-
Those 8's straight get down. What are you using for power again?
-
Can't wait to try it out! Sure it will be another great tool to go alongside my scope and DD-1.
...Any way you can remember to throw a sticker in the box this time Steve?
-
Been waiting on these for 2+ weeks guys
-
Just because it wont bottom out under tunning, doesnt mean it cant unload ABOVE tunning a well, How much excursion is there?
Very little that close to tuning. Noticeably more in the lower frequency.
I told him we would check it with the DD-1, may do that tonight.
