  1. Unhook both batteries and charge them separately then have them tested. Then get a DMM that is capable of measuring amperage draw, put the leads in the amperage draw slots and set it on the amperage draw section, take and put one lead on the positive battery terminal (unhooked from the battery) the other on the positive battery post itself and that will tell you if you have a draw. If you do start pulling fuses till it goes away. I have seen a few newer Mustangs do it because of the factory head unit / cd changer, but since you have no deck that's ruled out. I'd start with anything aftermarket removed one piece at a time.
  2. Those are Sundown SA 12's. Also, depending on the exact model of the amp it may very well be worth more than the rest of it combined.
  3. Why you no post details on Lvl 2 cone/surround then post a picture of it? I all curious/confused and such.
  4. I'll be there as always, no vehicle though. Look forward to seeing everyone.
  5. I like 7 and 4, giving the edge and my vote to 7 though.
  6. i don't think they weigh that much. Probably 65-70lbs each. Think they are a hair over that, not 92 though. If I remember right the Lvl 5 motor weighs like 80lbs by itself. Actually, according to the DC site: Magnet Weight 79.5lbs I was close. LOL. Loving this build, can't wait to see how this thing does for you. You'll love the 9.0's, mine are by far my favorite amp I've ever owned.
  7. Bless that poor cars heart LOL. Love it Steve, same layout and equipment list I was looking into building in a similar car so I'm tuned in to see how it does.
  8. LOL I know the feeling, I left my Lvl 6's at the shop while I was getting my build ready and it seemed like once a week I had to move the damn things for something. Eventually just left them strapped to the handtrucks. LOL
  9. Heck yeah, can't wait to see how this turns out. Hate to hear about the lack of news on the SMD v2's but I'm sure when they finally make production they will be freaking sweet! Aslo glad to see some DC in one of your builds, Rusty has been one of the best people I've ever dealt with in car audio.
  10. My shell is all 1.5" with 1 1/2" angle iron at all seems, then strip steel and 2x4 bracing on outside and roof, bottom bolted to floor. Baffles are 3" and rear wall is 2.25". I'm running 4 on a pair of 9.0's using right at 6.25 net per sub and it seems to be working well. Still finishing trim work, trying to calm the roof and windshield down, but as of right now I have yet to find anything it didn't play well.
  11. Being a parent myself I know how it feels to have a kid who is well behaved, and I also know how it feels to do something good for them and to see them appreciate it. I can't blame you a bit, especially since you found a good deal on it. I know I'd love to be able to do the same for mine when they are old enough. The wheels really threw a curveball at me, at first I was like "Man, those wheels were sweet back in the day, but ehhh today".... The plastidip made a world's difference. Look freaking sweet, set it off nicely. Good call, Sir. Now... Let's see some beat in there for him
  12. Can't wait to finally put my stack to use. Just moving them around the shop is a PITA, I couldn't imagine building them all day. LOL
  13. We've actually probably installed more of these than any Sundown woofer here lately. My opinion? Absolutely stellar performance for a shallow woofer. They also sound killer in sealed enclosures.
  14. I'll definitely be scooping quite a few 12's with these baskets for my build for next year once they become available. Jacob, is any of the Sundown crew coming down to GA for the NOPI Nationals this weekend?
  15. Looks great, can't wait to see some come through the shop. Any ETA on when these will start being used?
