  1. Plus, i think i hurt left wrist and my right forearm moving the woofers around today. Those things are little beasts :D

LOL I know the feeling, I left my Lvl 6's at the shop while I was getting my build ready and it seemed like once a week I had to move the damn things for something. Eventually just left them strapped to the handtrucks. LOL

  2. Heck yeah, can't wait to see how this turns out. Hate to hear about the lack of news on the SMD v2's but I'm sure when they finally make production they will be freaking sweet! Aslo glad to see some DC in one of your builds, Rusty has been one of the best people I've ever dealt with in car audio.

  3. My shell is all 1.5" with 1 1/2" angle iron at all seems, then strip steel and 2x4 bracing on outside and roof, bottom bolted to floor. Baffles are 3" and rear wall is 2.25". I'm running 4 on a pair of 9.0's using right at 6.25 net per sub and it seems to be working well. Still finishing trim work, trying to calm the roof and windshield down, but as of right now I have yet to find anything it didn't play well.

  4. The bottom ones are mounted from the opposite side. How in the world do you remove them?

They are not actually mounted to the opposite side, there are 2 regular baffles, then a flush mount baffle all glued and attached, mount the sub, then slide the top baffle on and screw it down. Sandwiches the gasket between 2 layers, and hides the mounting flange. Just thought it looked good. Pull 6 screws from the top baffle and remove it, then you can remove the subs.

  5. Being a parent myself I know how it feels to have a kid who is well behaved, and I also know how it feels to do something good for them and to see them appreciate it. I can't blame you a bit, especially since you found a good deal on it. I know I'd love to be able to do the same for mine when they are old enough.

The wheels really threw a curveball at me, at first I was like "Man, those wheels were sweet back in the day, but ehhh today".... The plastidip made a world's difference. Look freaking sweet, set it off nicely. Good call, Sir.

Now... Let's see some beat in there for him :)

  6. As much as I hate to do it the time has came to sell my latest race quad. Quad was originally built by ATV Rider Magazine (dubbed: "Project Z"), and after the magazine shoot had sat until I ended up with it. I raced it in one race last year, then rebuilt it over the winter to what you see here. Has 1 race and 1 ride since. Quad has the best of everything on it, no expense spared. Would make an excellent trail quad, XC race quad, or with some 3/2 wheels even be nice on an MX track!
