First dont get upset. Second. Its a living room media setup more than anything than a theater. The speaker placement is not in perfect locations. I do not care if he uses a oled led or projector. What matters moments field of view. That 98 is to small for the room size. To end this with out upsetting more people every one hears and enjoys this hobby differently. I my self has a room that is setup perfect to spec. That has been sound proofed and reflections controlled.

Jl does have a home audio line. Its so overpriced only the 1% can afford it. Meade does have a system. Not sure i would call it a theater. Its more of a home spl system. I ordered speaker power amps. Made with iceedge modules.

So I know car but I have been looking and home guys do not know much about jl. Im wondering if anyone here know more about the home line of amps?

So I have ordered 2 hertz 8 channel dsp I have 2 alpine type x 4 channel amps I have like 8 mono blocks to pick from Found brand new Alpine type x components for the front and rear. Found alpine type s for center and surrounds. Ordered alpine type r 12's 2 of them. Found a custom mdx wire harness that goes after the factory ampnto get all the signals to the dsp pair. Grom had a great deal for the vline 2 so android auto is now going in. Its probably going to be a couple months before I do anything else. Im doing a theater upgrade and painting my f150 before I get back on this project.

I found a dsp idea I'm going with. Running two hertz s8 dsp's . They have everything i need. Is there better hell yea but gets what i need done for cheap.

Like the title states small problem. Looking for a 12 channel dsp in is crazy high cost. I would like to upgrade the speakers and amps but is there a 12 channel dsp out under $900? I like the surround sound effect.

Evening, I had to get on here and let everyone know what I have been dealing with. I ordered a xs power agm battery for my Honda pilot. First one leaking in box didn't even remove it. Contacted company they had one shipped out from xs piwer to my bussiness Second one looks good in the box. Yesterday installed it laying down in my trunk . Came out this morning leaked all over. Removed it from the car and the acid burned holes In my shirt. Wtf happen to xs power. I have 2 other xs power agm batteries and no problem one of them is over 8 years going strong. Now I'm worried about using those at all. Seems like companies have been dropping like flys. We lost evga in the gpu space. Now xs power in the car audio space. Many others also.

I found the problem. At some point I hit the crossover filters and pushed them over to low pass. I reset it to off and tested again. worked and now the amp is set. Back to tuning the new setup. Thank u for the help.

So I have used my dd1+ 3 times now in two years. First setup my truck with kicker zx amps. Second hyundai with jbl gto 3 channel. Seemed to work ok the first time. The second time I thought it was just a shitty jbl amp. So I did the deck test has factory head unit with audio control box added in. It clipped at like 32 out of 50 I think it was. so I than plugged rca in the amp and moved on to the next track to set the gain on the amp. The amp was all ready clipping from what the dd1+ said at zero gain. SO I gave up after 30 mins of trying to set it with the dd1+ and set it by hear. so now year and half goes by I pull it out and thought maybe I should add some more overlap to the zx amps since I'm putting in new speakers and subs. So now I'm haven the same problem again. The deck in the truck is a pioneer prs deck no clipping until 60 on deck. Now I plug the amp rca back in and gain set to zero check the amp. Clipping again. eq flat crossover off on amps and deck. full signal going to amps. Could I be doing something wrong?
