Si does not have any more dual 2 ohm and i have had my first sub for like 6 months so there not taking anything back. Also These subs can handle 1000 rms each. They should be in there range. Are u saying that the wattage would want to go to the lower ohm driver first? How would that work?

So I have two si sql-15 subs one dual 2 ohm one dual 4 ohm. I have a crown xls 2002 that can do 4 ohms mono min. So I want to wire these in 6 ohm. Is there any real problems with this idea? Also why does 12volt.com say it will either be 12 ohm or 2.7 ohm? Seems to me it should be 6 ohms or 2.7.

Evening, I had to get on here and let everyone know what I have been dealing with. I ordered a xs power agm battery for my Honda pilot. First one leaking in box didn't even remove it. Contacted company they had one shipped out from xs piwer to my bussiness Second one looks good in the box. Yesterday installed it laying down in my trunk . Came out this morning leaked all over. Removed it from the car and the acid burned holes In my shirt. Wtf happen to xs power. I have 2 other xs power agm batteries and no problem one of them is over 8 years going strong. Now I'm worried about using those at all. Seems like companies have been dropping like flys. We lost evga in the gpu space. Now xs power in the car audio space. Many others also.

So I'm building a system in my 04 pilot and it's a pain in the ass. I have some kicker compq 12's. I forgot they were dual 2 ohm and this alpine amp is only 2 ohm rated. I really want to push it to one amp. Has anyone here tried this with this amp? Or alpine amps in the past. Does it handle it at all ? If not I can get a memphis amp pretty fast.

I'm past that point. Can't return this speakers now.

Looking for idea's or install pictures of others with pilots that were able to install aftermarket speakers. I picked up a set of 7 inch components couple months back and found out that honda gives u no room. The two options I have been thinking is make a mdf ring and cut the metal out behind it but not sure the panel with fit with that. Next would be glass the door panel but I do not have that free time to waste right now.

I found the problem. At some point I hit the crossover filters and pushed them over to low pass. I reset it to off and tested again. worked and now the amp is set. Back to tuning the new setup. Thank u for the help.

So I have used my dd1+ 3 times now in two years. First setup my truck with kicker zx amps. Second hyundai with jbl gto 3 channel. Seemed to work ok the first time. The second time I thought it was just a shitty jbl amp. So I did the deck test has factory head unit with audio control box added in. It clipped at like 32 out of 50 I think it was. so I than plugged rca in the amp and moved on to the next track to set the gain on the amp. The amp was all ready clipping from what the dd1+ said at zero gain. SO I gave up after 30 mins of trying to set it with the dd1+ and set it by hear. so now year and half goes by I pull it out and thought maybe I should add some more overlap to the zx amps since I'm putting in new speakers and subs. So now I'm haven the same problem again. The deck in the truck is a pioneer prs deck no clipping until 60 on deck. Now I plug the amp rca back in and gain set to zero check the amp. Clipping again. eq flat crossover off on amps and deck. full signal going to amps. Could I be doing something wrong?
