So apparently in the 90s a 42v system was proposed to replace 12v in cars... Damn that would've been nice. Anyone remember it at all? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/42-volt_electrical_system

Although... Once you get into that voltage, it seems that electrocution begins to become a risk
