    Why do you want it tuned so low? All you'll be able to play is decaf. Go for a 7 cube box tuned to 33 hz, sub up and port back. Double baffle the top and make sure to brace te shot out of it.

    Screws in both bottom corners, screw behind door pull, screw by door handle thingy, and a screw in the top right corner.

    You shouldn't have to worry too much about damaging it. Just build a better box next time.

    An AQ HDC3 18 can take around 2500 clamped watts, from what I've been told.

    If your only getting a single AQ 2200, why spend the extra money to get two subs. Just get one AQ HDC3 and be happy. It'll take up less space, and you save 300$. Just my opinion. What vehicle btw? Edit: Orrr, why don't you take the money you save from not getting either AQ and buy you something nice, like a Lv 5 or the like. It'll sound alot better on the power, and you can get another AQ 2200 for it down the road.

    i'm not exactly sure what coil configuration the sub is but each amp is strapped at 1 ohm so a final load of 2 ohms I think. No worries. I can just promise you his electrical isn't enough to run two amps at .25 each. That being said, if he would have an amazing electrical, and a proper box,wiring it to .5 total, this thing would probably SLAM! Edit: yes, that's a 2ohm load.

    If their strapped at 1 ohm each, there is no way to strap them to .5 each. So he had to choose between .5 final load or 2 ohm. Since he had an installer do it, it's probably a good thing that he doesn't run the amps at .25 each.

    9 cubes on that power is definitely way too big. And I would've tuned it to 35. The installer is a dipshit.

    The calculator calculates tuning frequency, but when building boxes, you want 14-17 sq inches per cube. Holy small port batman indeed

    10 - 12 feet would be ideal. That way you can run wire in safe places.

    The gain knob isn't a volume knob mate. Your clipping the shit out of your sub, it'll burn up sooner or later. You say you don't want the distortion to go to the sub, but your doing way worse right now. Until you can set it rift with an oscope or atleast a dmm, you need to turn that wayyy down.

    Box is way too big for sub, and I wouldn't even try a tline, since you don't seem to know actually what your doing. Your talking about slot ports and tlines, but then say you'll use the box and throw another sub in later on. That's a big NO! Just build a simple slot portbox, 2.0 cubes after displacements tuned to 35 hz, with 14-17 sq inches or port per cube.
