1 Week after the hurricane and we are still down WTF?!?! The one server I need up and running within 24 hours of any disaster the one server I said please don't let go off line is the one fucking server that is having issues getting back online. I am officially disappointed at my company.

The IT director didn't forget the backups one of our Data guys did who sorry to say it all of them with the exception of 2 are idiots. The 2 exceptions are the best damn guys I have ever seen but they can't do all the work and they are not in control of my region...the idiots are.

Ours did and is not coming back until Saturday our main NYC office is on w 38th Street. I believe that's lower Manhattan and its a two floor building if I'm not mistaken no secure concrete bunker like it should be but still secure enough to get the job done (until now). All I know is someone got some explaining to do when we get passed this mess because I look like a complete schmuck in front of these people right now. We did hear a lot of the better more prepared places never had not...
