smell is gone maybe was a loose wire maybe internal external or something sitting on the amp cause now it doesnt get as hot as before

anyone had this problem? It that smell when you open up any electronics or radio and has that smell from the electronic board

just today when i was playing my sounds it started to smell and smell like burning wire. I was wondering if anything is wrong with the amp? I have been playing the system for over 4 months with no problem till today when it got smelly. The amp never turned of or went into protect mode. The gains was set with a oscope. 4 volt preout deck rainbow germanium 6.5 speaker running each channel 1,2 each tweeter 3,4 is the 6.5 component speaker. Any help?

i never have any problem with it closing i have a similar one my main fuse is a install bay fuse holder

what if i get the fuse holder and change the fuses? i will prob get the rockford ones 2 for 20 unless someone can show me another good brand that cheaper? looking on ebay that why

Only problem i have with that type of fuse holder is that you have to terminate the wire at the holder instead of having a screw type terminal built into the fuse holder.
what wrong with that? i dont get why it would be a problem?

nooo no wire the subs wiring the sub to the amp it has 4 inputs

from a friend was used for only a few hours that why.
how do you wire it at 1 ohm the instructions doesnt show anything

ok, 1st the rf 1500.1bdcp usaully do 1800-1900 at 1 ohm 1700-1800 at 2ohm, i wouldnt push those subs passed 1000watts a peice so even at 1 ohm doing 1900 watts you will only be at 950 per so your good. second, you will need a second battery maybe more. these amps are beast i have one. it will get those subs moving great and if you can get the amp for 350 thats a great deal dealers pay about 500 a piece on them. you should consider saving up for a ho alt. make sure you build a box for those subs to, take some time designing it and brace the box fairly well.

looking at getting a optima battery or a kinetik one would you suggest in the long run?
