    The subs are part of the problem but that box will be your major drawback if you not getting "loud". Not to mention you will be under powering the SD2 10s with that 500.1.

    Trying to gauge what would be a better fit for my application. I am replacing the door speakers in my car with one of these speakers. They will be ran off head unit power only. Not amplified. Which would sound better off headunit power?

    either way a good 3500w amp will work best. I still say 4 SA12s. More cone area

    Increase your budget another $125 and you can get a brand new saz-1500. Or you can email jacob and see if he has any b-stock amps available
