    Basic tools I would recommend to anyone wanting to do car audio, in your case since your budget is a concern I will list some things including ones that I own personally as well as some general prices on some things.

    Cordless Drill - 18Volt $69 Ryobi

    Hand Sander - $30 Ryobi

    Plunge Router $99 Ryobi - with Upward Spiral Bit $30 (get a carbide tipped bit worth the extra money for the time it lasts)

    Jigsaw - $69 Ryobi

    Circular saw - $39 Ryobi(good alternative if you cannot afford a table saw)

    DMM - $150 (Buy a Fluke it will be the last DMM you ever buy period, again worth the money for the time it lasts)

    Circle Jig - $40 (Definitely a time saver but not required)

    Carbide tipped drill bits $25-$30 Ryobi

    Wood Clamps - (Various lengths, I personally have 6"/12"/24"/36" a pair of each) $4-$6 each

    Corner Clamps $3 each

    Lineman's pliers $25

    Wire Stripper $22

    SkewDriver This is a MUST have IMO makes getting screws in tight corners easy to remove and install. Here is a link to one at home depot this attaches to your drill direct. Skewdriver

    Now to save you money, I use Ryobi brand power tools, they are affordable and work very well for me, all my power tools from my table saw to my cordless drill are Ryobi. As for wood clamps/corner clamps Harbor Freight they are lifetime warranty and probably the cheapest you will find. Circle Jig is gonna run around $40 here is where I got mine. Jasper Jig 200 I use Channel lock brand pliers and such, they are not the cheapest but they for me are very durable and again never let me down.

    This aside from basic tools, screw drivers and socket sets with ratchets etc.

    Looks like small and unpopular will lose as usual not that I stood a chance, gl to the rest of ya.
    i know it seems as such and in some cases this is true, but like myself im sure the others as well as the "small ppl" have put in alot of work. I cant tell you how many hrs I have into my car to make it as such ( lol helps to have a forgiving wife also). I would hate to see this looked upon as a popularity contest.not dogging on you but your comments would dq you in my book as it comes off as spite. again im not tryin to start anything im just sayin bro. some things are best said behind closed doors, maybe an im to Jon would have been in order ?

    I use all Ryobi tools, and they have never let me down. The last drill I had which was a 14.4v model lasted 7 years before the batteries just stopped taking a charge. I currently have a tablesaw, cordless drill, jigsaw, plunge router, bench grinder and hand sander. All of which perform very well for the price of the tools. IMO there is no reason to buy a Dewalt for home use as that is more a contractor built tool line.

    Remember unless it's a printed decal, your average vinyl decal guy will charge you out the butt for a three color vinyl decal with the layering involved. I'll see what I can come up with in Illustrator that is pure vector which can be made into either a layered color sticker or a single color one.

    *Edit* Here is a quick one, stuck with a font that was clean yet still kinda in the same style of the era of the confederacy.

    If you like it and want the full vector format for a decal guy just let me know, also the black is just to show the background it is NOT meant to be cut from vinyl, think of it as your window tint. I have over 5000 fonts, so if you know of a font you like, just let me know I will probably have it or can get it if you don't like the one I used here.

    So after having 1 SA 12 for a while it gave me the itch to get more, I got another SA 12, sold my JBL GTO1200.1 II and got a SAZ1500D. So I built instead of another slot port box a Aeroport box 4cuft after sub/port displacement with (3) 4" aero ports 12" long rough tuning 42Hz. Needless to say I was floored with the gain in not only SPL but in the performance of the SA series subs. I went from a 134 to a 144.2 with just adding the second 12, new box and Sundown amp. I am in the process of doing the big 3, ground is done, battery I pick up tomorrow, and then power wire done same time as new battery, also saving to run 0AWG to the back instead of 4AWG <_< . I have this on the SSA forums, but just wanted to post here as well since I have been reading a lot here lately.
