  10. Why are you getting behind it?
  11. This is a thread Im throwing up here to show some work I have done or helped with. Each car in this thread is owned by a friend of mine. I tried to do something unique with each of them. I also will try to keep them grouped together as I post/update each of them.
  12. Thats the way Ive done them.
  13. Yes, Pac-Audio makes a part that will do everything for you. But I dont think its really that cheap. I can get the part number if you would like though.
  14. Uhhhh...you should be able to access it just fine man. They have the access panel right on the side right?
  15. Its not to bad, but the newer GMs run their radio via a data wire, your door/warning chimes run through the radio too. So you will also lose those.
  16. The easiest way for you to do that would be to run a wire from the red wire at your radio to your fuse box (hide it behind the dash). Once at the fuse box, find a fuse that has 12volts only when the car is on and hook the wire in at the non power side of the fuse.
  17. That is the harness where you need to run your own ACC wire, everything else is normal unless you have a foctory amp, then wire the blue wire on the GM035 to the blue/wire from your radio.
  18. Hang one real fast please.
  19. No, that has nothing to do with your problem. You need to find out if your Blazer is the model with or without the ACC wire first.
  20. Yes, the ACC wire is 12volt switched.
  21. Check and see if there is an ACC wire in the carside harness (the red wire on your new radio). You may need to run you own, some models had the Metra harness 70-1858 and others had the Metra harness 70-2003. The models that had the 70-2003 do not have that ACC wire, they turn on via a data wire, thats when you run your own ACC wire. If you do have the 70-1858 (and the ACC wire), check fuses and make sure the radio is not bad.
  22. I would love to enter....but there arnt any comps in my area. Guess I should start looking harder. haha
  23. Sent my info out a few days ago. Thanks again man!!!
  24. Could it just be that track? IDK man, Id keep an eye on it though to see if it does it again.
